I’m not very fond of shopping at the Home Depot anywhere for paint anymore unfortunately because I don’t tend to have pleasant experiences. However I must say that the young man demari who helped me the other day was beyond exceptional as far as making sure I got everything I needed for my project. Epoxy paint, caulk, & rollers !!!
BEWARE OF HOME DEPOT'S THIRD PARTY VENDORS He sounded nice and professional, but it was just a facade. He took my deposit money for a door, but never delivered that door, and stopped returning call and text messages. When I called home depot to report him, since it was HD that gave my number to this con artist, as a third party, HD replied that there's nothing they could do. So HD gave my number to a con-artist, and they did not even bother to make at least a phone call on my behalf, their customer. HD literally offer their customers on a silver plate, to scammers out there.
I went down to Mill Basin to chase a 4pack of Rigid sawhorses that were on sale. I couldn't find them and asked a newbie associate (2 wks on job) to assist. I walked him thru the process on his handheld to get a location, he got me help from a qualified electric stair operator to get it down from a top storage and another 'Homer' helped me get them out to my car. All-round team effort, all the cashiers were happy to help and I'm happy to have scored!! Go Team!!
I just had three people ask me if I needed help while I was browsing. That is unheard of in most stores. At the unspeakable named store nearby, I can’t even get an employee to acknowledge my presence. I will always patronize this Home Depot, great customer service!
As complete amateurs buying a grill for the first time, we had no idea where to start — but Denzel at Home Depot made the entire experience smooth, stress-free, and even enjoyable! From the moment we walked in, he guided us every step of the way, answering all of our questions with patience and expertise. He took the time to understand the space we were working with and helped us find the perfect grill to fit our needs — all at the best price we could have imagined. We couldn’t be happier with our purchase, and it’s all thanks to Denzel. Highly recommend working with him if you’re looking for exceptional service and honest guidance at Home Depot!
Bad experience. From return where 3 people see you standing and slowly ignoring and just chit chatting. At check out. Long lines and they ask you for personal information and won’t let you check out without. Amazing leadership to drive the right talent in this location.
This store is disgusting. Just because you sell construction materials does not mean the store should look like a construction site! Most items in the store are all dirty and completely covered in dust ranging from items in stock to those on display. After touching only a few items and seeing my fingers were black, decided we will not return and rather drive out to Red Hook location.
