Fantastic customer service! Our heat went out and within 2 hours of my call a mechanic was at my door. Kevin was extremely curteous, patient, knowledgeable and made sure everything was running perfectly before he left. Definitely key employee! I highly recommend United Metro. Thank you!

Unacceptable reckless driver. The driver on the attaches pictures ran me off the road in an very dangerous situation and seemed to think it was funny

EXCELLENT AND SINCERE SERVICE. About 7-8 years ago I did not want to resign a contract again with the big oil co. I was dealing with. A very close friend of mine told me about UMEC. They were COD. It didn't take long to trust them and leave a blank check for them. I have total trust in them now. They come Immediately if I am low on oil. I went through a very rough time for a couple of months & They worked with me. I'm very content and happy with their service. Every person that works there has emailed me back immediately. Robert H. has been reminding me to look if my fuel is low. - Just when the timing is right!! He's been doing that for me for probably 5 years! I give them ***** 5 STARS because I've never had an issue. They even have to place that heavy hose over a delicate white fence with no gate. Then walk completely around my yard to get to the oil area. It's not the easiest job. Although - The fence has never ever been damaged because of them. THANK YOU UMEC - K. from Smithtown, NY

I'm on automatic delivery and I ran out of oil. How does this happen? There incompetent. I called and got a Message service who took my name, Address, and phone number and was told someone would call me back shortly. It's been 4 hours and still no call. I have 2 kids In the house. This company is not good. Look somewhere else. I would never recommend them to anyone. I would give them zero stars if I could.

This is the details of my experience with United Metro. The company does not tell you that the bio fuel will freeze at a higher temperature then regular oil when you sign up. So when you have a terribly cold winter like we did in 2017 you will have your feed lines freeze faster than if you have traditional oil. I had 4 days of having to call them to come out to prime my boiler and get the heat going before they finally just said it’s too cold and gave me a shopping list of things I needed to go get at Home Depot (electric heat tape and some chemical). Why this information wasn’t given to me at the beginning of my 4 days without heat during the coldest week of the year. Multiple pipes froze and broke that I had to repair at my own cost. When I started with this company I explained my home burns a lot of oil and need more frequent deliveries to ensure I don’t run dry. I was assured that wouldn’t be a problem (one of the main reasons I went with metro was they were very friendly and assured me I wouldn’t have to worry about running out of oil) I have run out of multiple times! One of the drivers while delivering oil ran the truck over a large brick light pole in my driveway and never stopped or said anything to the company. Thankfully I had it on security video. To their credit they did have one of their guys (Anthony) come out and fix it. He could not have been more helpful or done a better Job. He is the only reason for the extra star. Finally I have a second tank on the other side of my house no where near my oil tank that feeds a generator. It is behind a fence and gate. Instead of filling my oil tank they filled this tank with oil and to add insult to injury LEFT THE CAP OFF!!! They sent someone out and said there is no water in the tank (which was my concern because I had not found it for 2 weeks and it had rained several times with the cap off they said must be lucky!) They then charged me for the oil in the wrong tank that I now have to pump out and dispose of once again at my expense. Friendly people until you have a problem and if your experience is anything like mine you will in my opinion.

Professional at providing fuel! After using 3 other companies to compare against over 20yrs I found the most professional, reliable and most competitive in value. It has been about 4yrs with United Metro and would recommend them to all my family and friends. Thanks to the staff and Mgmt. for being honest and creating a highly reputable business.

I was tired of getting price-gouged by Petro because it has a virtual monopoly on the oil heating business on Long Island (its parent company owns most brands and won't compete with one another). I tried United Metro because of a referral and I have been extremely pleased with the experience and service level so far. The oil prices were fair and affordable especially in comparison with Petro's annual price gouging. And we had our annual free tune up yesterday, which was handled expertly by their technician Roger, who went out of his way to make sure everything was running smoothly. I rarely provide positive online reviews, but I highly recommend United Metro and the people it employs.
