NAPA Auto Parts - Tools Parts and Equipment

Nobody answers, it's an automated line. Was pricing parts and this place is close by. I drove right past it to a different autoparts store that picked up the phone. If a person can't talk to me, I don't need their parts. That automated stuff is garbage. I went there without calling in the past, the parts were more expensive than those just down the road. This is not the NAPA autoparts I know and enjoy. P.S. it took me longer to write this message than it did for me to hang up once asked to speak to their answering machine and then call another autoparts store. It's also going to take longer for me to forget about the dumb barrier to human interaction. Just be a normal autoparts store.

Recently had check engine light come on. I am older lady traveling alone from out of state. Was 1st place I saw off highway. The guy immediately offered to come outside and look at my vehicle, plug it in to try to see code of problem. His little machine could not read my vehicle but he sent me to a place right down the road and told me to tell them he sent me. They came right out and were able to find the problem. Had just filled tank with bad gas during freeze blackout. Neither charged me a penny. True south Texas gentlemen!

Great customer service

Never seems to be open. No one anwers the phone. Short hrs of operation. This has been going on for years. Ive never been inside of the one in brownsville. Maybe a front for something.

Not sure about good service!!! A few months ago asked for a part to be ordered. And the guy on phone just told me to ( order it yourself online )

I should've got the employee's name but the guy was an absolute rock star! An auto parts store is exactly what it says on the box, it's the knowledge and service that makes all the difference...
