I brought my car in for a battery & hood latch replacement on 7/14/25 got it back on 7/18/25 When I picked up my car the entire front grill was not only ripped out without my knowledge but they threw all the pieces in the back seat like trash. When I took it to 2 different shops including a dealership they all had told me there was no work actually done. I called Sammy’s auto body and left 2 voicemails I had to call once again because no one ever returned my calls for an explanation. When I was told to bring my car back in for them to actually fix it not one person apologized for the inconvenience nor did they let me speak to the mechanic that did the work on my car- only telling me "you can speak to me he’s busy" what kind of place of business doesn’t let you speak to a supervisor and or the person who "worked" on my personal property?! I spent over $600 to get this fixed just to be treated like a second class person with again - no apology for the inconvenience. No call back what so ever & not allowing me to speak to someone past the front desk lady and a lady washing cars. On top of this all they put most of my grill back in AFTER I got it actually fixed. Why not put it back in the first time around? Bella told me over the phone the mechanic got upset and kept getting scratched when trying to get through the grill, so I’m only guessing he out of anger ripped it all out and threw it in the back and then just threw his hands up and walked away from fixing the car. I run a jewelry store so I 100% know how professional business is to be handled. This however was not professional. I did not come in yelling or threatening simply wanting an explanation but because they didn’t do their jobs correctly the first time they were refusing to recognize their mistakes and making me feel as if I have no right to ask to speak to someone? I didn’t even ask for any money back which thinking back I should have. Going forward I’ll never ever ever come to this place. The rude attitude was more than enough for me. You want cheap shotty work done then come to this place. You know the old saying "quality over quantity" yeah should have spent a bit more money to get it done correctly the first time.

Max was a pleasure to deal with. Great little but big mom and pop auto shop that really takes care of customers! Convienent location, great staff, and expert auto repairmen. Don't be afraid to stop in here for estimates and trust everything will be done and will be done right! Had to add more.....they washed my car and barely charged me anything for something triple A was going to charge 475 they charged 34$..... wow

I’ve been going to Sammy’s since around 2019. They’ve always taken good care of me solved my problems, plus they’re pretty great about giving a balanced opinion when I need it.

I did not even know about Sammy’s until last week. After reading other ratings on Google and experiences on Reddit I decided to take my vehicle in for an estimate. They communicated well, were reasonably priced and efficient. I will be going back until given a reason not to. I had a great experience working with Mary Lou and Dennis.

Update: I won’t be bringing my vehicle back here. They messed up a few things and overall it just feels less healthy than when I brought it in. When I was driving down the 190 right on my way out, the heat shield blew off the bottom of the car. Brought it back just for the mechanic to tuck it under the plastic of the front bumper instead of secure it with the pins (I could have done that myself). Also now when I turn the wheel towards either edge, there’s a metal rattling sound coming from under the car. This has never happened before I brought it in here. Also, they broke the plastic spoiler/bumper protector off the one side of the front which also blew off on the highway a few days later. When I went in, I really needed a new battery cause my old one kept dying. They told me on the phone that they didn’t have anyone there that could do batteries, yet I ended up just changing it myself in the AutoZone parking lot by myself that day. One of the easiest car maintenance things to do. I got the impression that the mechanic working was not very skilled at all, or didn’t have good attention to detail or care for what he was working on. Overall not really impressed with the service considering multiple things went wrong after visiting there once. This spot is convenient because it’s in my neighborhood but I’ll be going back to the mechanics I trust. I really don’t like leaving negative reviews on local small businesses but I’m disappointed 🙁 Original review: Called to get a same day oil change and air filter change before I went out of town and they helped out a ton. Got me in and out and kindly the whole time. The waiting room is very nice also with care clearly put into the customer experience. Glad to have a shop like this in the neighborhood and I would recommend them!

Sammy’s is a family owned and operated shop and that family-feeling spreads throughout their business. They’ll look over your car with your best interest at heart. I will never go anywhere else for service on my car
