Solar Liberty

Loving my new solar system so far! Although the install took longer than I had originally hoped (signed first agreement in April, installed in August, system not on until September), I am still glad we finally went ahead with it every time I see the electric meter rolling backwards (and that's while charging our two EVs exclusively at home). Definitely some hiccups along the way, but Solar Liberty was still [mostly] great to work with. Highly recommended.

I received 6 quotes from various local residential solar companies. Solar Liberty was the most competitive with pricing and the most accommodating when it came to sizing my system and explaining the options and quotes. They were very helpful with rebates and made the process easy.

They are flexible with all your questions and concerns and open to changes. They provided all paperwork over email and handles are paperwork for city and county. The install went great, everyone is friendly and will answer any questions that you have. My system was turned on a week after and my bill has went from 120 to 20 dollars already!!

We had our 9.4kW PV system installed by Solar Liberty in 2013. My install experience was near-flawless, with experienced electricians onsite giving us a clean and professional looking install. Over the course of 10 years our system has been cranking away, effectively eliminating our electric bill with almost no issues. We had a couple inverters (out of 40) go bad over the years; SL came out to swap them out quickly. Today we continue to enjoy the panels which produce almost as much as the day they were installed, and are happy to see that SL seems to be thriving. I have referred many friends and families, many who have had systems installed and are also happy. In my opinion they're the best solar installers in the Buffalo area, would heartily recommend them to anyone considering solar!

Solar Liberty did a exceptional job on my solar system. The used high quality efficient components. I have 45 Sun Power panels with an 11 kW SolarEdge system. I can monitor the performance of each panel and they all working great. The array is oversized by 5% and the inverter limits the output on rare occasions. The electrical inspector loves Solar Liberty because they follow all the rules and layout the components to easily observe. It has been working for 4 years, meeting 60% of my electrical load, which is better performance than estimates. I did have an inverter failure, which was promptly replaced. Solar Liberty was very responsive.
