Spooling Up Performance is outstanding. I received excellent customer service from Ryan and the guys who work there. They really are very good at their work and enjoy it too. Most recently I had some suspension work done. They took my car right in and it was done in a timely fashion. Andrew did a great job doing the work and was meticulous in his work. I will definitely be back. I strongly recommend their work!

The guys at Spooling Up Performance were awesome to work with as I bought a Catback Borla Exhaust & Corsa Cold Air Intake for my 2023 Dodge Charger Hellcat Redeye Jailbreak. I was going back and forth with Ryan as I was waiting for parts and he couldn't be more polite to work with as my parts were delayed in the mail causing us scheduling issues. The parts came in halfway through the day meaning it would have taken them past close to install the parts. A typical shop like this would have rescheduled for another day. However, Ryan said "bring it on in some of the guys are willing to stay a bit longer to get your exhaust and cold air intake installed." They understand the thrill behind these cars, especially once you modify them. They were able to bring me thrill and an ear to ear smile on my face by getting the installs done that day. Not to mention the work was done incredibly well. Would definitely recommend to say the least!

Awesome experience with Spooling Up Performance. I found the shop via YouTube and happened to live within a reasonable driving distance. My mazdaspeed3 was due for a full overhaul due to mileage and contact with a deer. I emailed the shop, and received a call from the owner to review my plan and budget. Within a week I had the car dropped off at the shop and received updates on progress through their interactive invoice. It was very nice to be able to see the progress pictures and understand how much work went into all of the jobs, as well as receiving a detailed record of maintenance. I had major maintenance done to the car with the entire engine and transmission pulled out of the car, as well as removal and replacement of body panels. The quality of mechanics speaks for itself, as my 2008 Mazda was put back together after a full breakdown, and had zero rattles, weird noises, or anything that would indicate that it was completely pulled apart just a few weeks prior. I am very happy with the results and work I had done at Spooling Up Performance and will have my car back to them in the fall.

Let me start by saying that I've patroned a few different performance shops in the Western NY area and Spooling Up was by far the best experience I've had so far. Initially I pulled the car out of winter storage and found it had a low boost condition. I called Spooling Up and Jose answered all my questions and scheduled a time to bring the car in. The initial problem was diagnosed, and I received an update in the app that tracks all the details, costs, and tech notes and a phone call to discuss the repair - all within 24 hours. Austin did a great job finding root cause - the boost control solenoid was stuck open only allowing gate pressure of 12 psi. The issue was confirmed fixed. I talked with Austin and a few other members of the team including Alex about the 2.0 EcoBoost platform and it was clear they had a lot of experience with it, so I was confident in implementing phase 2 of a project I've wanted to do for the last few years but hesitated due to a bad experience I've had at another shop. Phase 2 was to implement a fuel system upgrade using the XDI high pressure fuel pump and injector approach, which is a direct OEM replacement for the stock fuel system, so the ECU is aware of what is going on with the fueling. The plan was to max out the 2867 while also giving some headroom for ethanol blending or E85 in the future. Once the parts came in, they were installed within a day, and a dyno session was completed within about the same time. End result. The car is insane. Made 355 / 351 @30 lbs. on snows. Power band goes from 4000 all the way through 6500 with perfect drivability. I don't think the tuning could be any better for the target application. They treated my car like it was their car, and the passion for the work - to make your car faster, was apparent after talking with them for a short while. I had engine-out preventative maintenance done to my e39 BMW, from the beginning to the end this team was fantastic. You can tell they all enjoy their jobs and enjoy making the cars they work on better. I was really impressed with Chris's communication and diligence. My job was very complex and had a part list a mile long, it was cool to monitor the progress via their online invoice system. My tech, Zach was truly invested in this job, talked to me several times, made recommendations and went above and beyond. I would gladly bring any of my cars here again for repair, PM and upgrades. State of the art shop, enthusiastic car people, how could you not want to do business here?
