Burbank Water and Power

Update:The service has been pretty decent. They have worked with me a lot in regards to needing a flexible payment plan. They sent me information and applications to programs that can help. This is a lot nicer than some of the experience I have had in the past. After 15 years of living in Burbank, I have only had a small handful of bad phone rep experiences. I still thing the price hike is a bit steep. ***************Albeit, they are reliable and now willing to create payment plans, they are severely price gouging the residents. For a small 2 bedroom apartment where no one is home all day because everyone is in school or works, my bill is easily $250 per month in the winter and $500 per month in summer and I don't even have central air. Just total rubbish pricing. What's worse is that the meter communication has been off for over a year and they are aware of it!!! When I complained about my meter they tested it and claimed they were underestimating me and my bill went up even higher. My bill used to be $125 in the winter and $300 in the summer, that's nearly a 100% increase!! They haven't even given me tools necessary to figure out how to cut back on my electricity usage. Id give them 1 star if it weren't for the payment plan they worked out for me.

Burbank water and power has really bad communication with the public and even with the employees they employed. They don’t have an inclusive environment and every employee is out to get each other and even the public, It all starts with the poor management they have.

I called the emergency water leak services department, and Carlos answered the phone, I told him about the water problems. He told me he would dispatch the field officers to help me right away, they showed up in less than 20 minutes. Great people, great service. Thank you so much

I think the people who work here are very nice and helpful. And I have no problem with my water or how it tastes. I think the department is very good. But I have never been able to use the website to pay my bill. Months have gone by and many conversations but still it does not function. I don't live in California full time so this has been a problem for me, and I have to call the company every month to talk about the issue, and today I am about to call them yet again.

1. Please fix your automated system. does not pick up choices made from given options. 2. Also, please fix your phone system including audio. I called a couple of times and the people who answered could not hear me speaking. 3. I will update my review if these issues will be addressed soon. Thanks!

There service is amazing, the power plant is very helpful, they also provide chargepoint charging stations for ur EV, level 1 and level 2 (ccs combo) price is based on time of day and EV Type

Special soft and wonderful staff. Like I was used to in Kansas. Efficient and super customer focused. Add to that a historic Art Deco building and you would be happy to buy a ticket just to come inside each month and pay your bill. Bravo!
