We recently had Tarum with Vancouver Solar and Electrical install our residential solar array. We had several companies quote, but Tarum was the most knowledgeable and took the time to make sure that our set up would meet our needs and explain his recommendations. Tarum and his team have done a wonderful job installing solar panel system on my roof. I approached two different Solar installation companies before I went to V.S.E, these two companies did not even want to provide me with a quota after knowning the roof is concrete tile. Tarum took the challenge and completed the task beautifully

Tarum and his team at Vancouver Solar did an awesome job squeezing 30 panels on our roof in December 2023. Tricky install due to multiple peaks, slopes, exhaust vents and 50 foot climb from back yard to roof top. They dove right in and completed the job without incident. Winter months are minimum production but we are getting enough KWh to charge our plug in hybrid most every day. Looking forward to increasing output as days lengthen and our overcast rainy winter wanes. Thank you Vancouver Solar for being on budget and on time.

Tarum and his team did outstanding work putting solar panels on what could best be described as a nightmare house. My home has a tile roof (far more difficult to work with and attach solar panels to) with 25 years of moss buildup (gluing roof tiles together and making it much harder to pull out tiles to anchor the panels) and many small facets (meaning that rather than a single large block of tiles, Tarum was often installing one or two at a time). To make things worse, by the time the city approved the permits it was the middle of winter -- far from convenient timing given how slippery roof tiles get in the rain. Through all of this, Tarum kept me updated on the progress of the work, answered innumerable questions with amazing patience (I'm sure he must have been getting annoyed, but I'm a computer geek and like to understand how everything works!) and ensured that every part of the process was done to the highest of quality. I now have 27 x 430W of panels (nominal 11.61kW but maxes out a bit lower than that since the sun can't shine directly on all of them at once) generating 60 kWh of electricity on sunny days in May, and 13.5 kWh of battery backup, providing free power for both my home and two electric cars.
