Very cheap! And Very Good! Great place! I could honestly see no problem in coming here again! The atmosphere is amazing! It offers various goods and services and brings me in with open arms!
It is definitely worth the membership. The Cafe is affordable if you need something quick on the table, and the staff (on my end) has been pretty alright. But the produce, perferabbly the salad and fresh greens is where this location just seems to struggle with. And to be completely honest, its unsurprising because they have to truck everything in since there is no direct access to freight deliveries like Costco in Fort Myers, and ultamitely prolonging the time it takes for fresh produce to be on the shelves. So the produce does feel like a mixed bag. Otherwise everything else in the store is stellar. Just be careful buying the salad or stuff similar to it.
I’ve been a Sam’s Club member for years, sharing the account with my mom (she is the primary, and I’m the secondary). Our membership recently expired, and I wanted to renew it—but downgrade from a Plus membership to a regular one. Since I couldn’t figure out how to do this online, I went to the store. Unfortunately, I was told by the manager that my mom would have to be present with her ID in order to renew and downgrade, eevn though I'm clearly listed on the account. I explained that she now lives in Maryland, over two hours away from the nearest Sam’s Club, and as a senior, this is not an easy trip for her. Still, I was told there was nothing they could do and that only she could handle it in person. I even asked the manager if he could at least show me how to do it through the app so I could handle it myself, and he completely ignored my question. I repeated myself and said, "So you can just show me?" and his response was, "Unfortunately not." The only alternative I was given was a day pass to shop temporarily until we "figured it out." I find this absolutely appalling. The account is currently suspended because it’s not renewed—so in reality, I could have just opened a new account under my own name. Yet, the store wouldn’t allow me to simply pay for the renewal and downgrade the account. I’ve always liked Sam’s Club, but this experience left a really bad impression. It feels like there should be a much easier process for families who share memberships, especially when the primary member is a senior living far away. Instead of making things simple for a loyal customer who wanted to pay and keep shopping, I was turned away. Sam’s Club will no longer get my business.
Purchased a salad mix and the most beautiful-LOOKING tomatoes I've seen in quite some time. Both were pretty atrocious. The salad, seemed heavier than normal at store, but most did so I thought nothing of it. When I got it home it smelled bad and was wet and very heavy... Stunk like a rabbits cage... The tomato's too were pretty awful. Color and smell was incredible but taste/texture were bad... Not a fan and couldn't even find a use for them which is terrible when I was open to even tossing them in a bowl a chili, but found that unpalatable. So I tossed the lettuce out because it was stinking up my fridge and went back for a credit and some heavy set guy with a black nose-ring turned me around and told me he needed the food to process any form of exchange or refund. Well since it cost me an additional $25 I'm just leaving a negative review and cancelling my membership, disputing the charges, and contacting corporate to have them all retrained. Sorry to bother you guys over the $3 return but you won't have to go through this every again with me, because I'll never be stupid enough to trust you or purchase anything fresh again.
A couple months ago got a tire change. The guy was very rude and the tire change took approximately 2 and a 1/2 hours. That would be a one star, but other than the fact that I yeah, shop here all the time. Just for groceries, just because of the good prices, I have to up it to 3 star. Because it is beneficial.
Store Manager Mitch locked the door at 7:58 PM, and he wouldn't let me in to buy cereal for the kids. I have been a member since 1998, and I will be taking my business elsewhere. The level of indolence and lack of customer care is just astonishing! Mitch, you thought you were doing your job, but there's more to it than you could ever grasp. Thanks for the experience!
Sam's Club Opticians. The optician's lady is quite difficult to deal with. I've been a Sam's Club customer for years. Marie... This kind of employee, who thinks the customer owes them a favor, causes this... I'll go to another place like BJ's Club with better customer service. Thanks, Marie, you're not the only ones here in this small town!
