Every spring, my wife and I look forward to sprucing up our garden, and Home Depot has become our go-to spot for everything we need. The team at the garden center is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. On our recent visit, they took the time to suggest plants that not only thrive in our area but are also drought-tolerant—exactly what we were looking for. It’s clear they know their stuff, and we always leave feeling confident about what we’re planting. Great service, great selection, and expert advice—can’t ask for more!
Every year, my wife and I make a tradition of refreshing our garden, and the garden center at Home Depot never lets us down. The staff there really knows their stuff—they helped us pick out plants that not only look great but are also perfect for our local climate and drought conditions. It’s so refreshing to get solid advice from people who genuinely care and know what they’re talking about. This place has definitely become our trusted garden headquarters.
My husband had asked an associate there where he can find something and the kid I'll say the kid because he wasn't very old he had dark bushy hair beard mustache didn't even stop put his hand behind himself and said back there. I couldn't even get his name but you know we all have something going on in life but when you're out dealing with the public you need to really make sure your customer service is top-notch because I think you guys have stock by sales and having that kind of attitude and that laziness and that rudeness can cause Home Depot to lose customers. Luckily the older gentleman down on that aisle was very helpful, polite and respectful. So we were able to find our items that we were looking for because of the polite gentleman maybe it's the generation gap, I have no idea but rudeness like that shouldn't be tolerated and a work environment. And as a business owner, would have been fired on the spot.
Twenty years ago, in 2006, I went to this store in the evenings, and there would be 5 or 6 cars in the parking lot. The employees told me that the store is now the highest-grossing store in the United States. The amount of goods going through the store is amazing. What's even more amazing is the ability of the staff to keep things full and stocked. It is a dependable place to shop.
To the two ladies working that were at self checkout, thank you so much for entertaining my crying little girl while I checked out my items. As everyone heard in the store she was not too happy, skipped nap time and had grandpa with me ready to help me finish her new sand box I got her. So I was trying to be quick. Thank you for being so sweet and kind. That kindness and helpfulness goes along way! Thank you
We bought a tool chest and needed to put a hold on it for a day to figure out how to transport it. Came back the next day to pickup and after getting it home, realized the keys to lock the chest were missing. Went back to try and retrieve another set of keys and employees couldn’t find one at first. Luckily, I had Galesa and Edrick helping me as they went above and beyond to help locate another set by finding another unopened tool chest(which was another fiasco) and found me a set of keys. thank you!
Purchased $22.00 worth of toilet supplies yesterday, using a credit card and a partial Home Depot store credit from a previous return. After reviewing the repair outcome, I needed to change my purchase to other supplies. Unfortunately, I forgot my wallet at home, and was told I needed to go home and get my wallet for my identification. I showed the return desk employee my receipt, as it had the bar code on it to electronically process the refund! Upon asking to speak with the manager, he appeared and also stated he was "Powerless" to process my refund without my ID. (????) A Manager can do as he deems necessary to please a customer, within reason; as reasonable as this transaction Was. I've a measly $22.00 dollar return. I explain that I am a pro account holder, only to get a response, "Sorry policy requires an ID be presented." Really?? Over $22.00 worth of merchandise, you have no problem inconveniencing me and actually sending me home, losing an hour if productivity and gas over this.... To summarize, Don't forget your wallet when going Home Depot to make a legitimate return....."Make sure you have your papers"!.... Which I did (receipt). I had to travel back home, just to receive credit back to my credit card... It's not like I was asking for cash. Unhappy and Appalled my receipt with electronic barcode was Not honored! Did they think I was giving a refund to someone other than Myself???? SMH...
