Sonic Device Repair Cary

We were at Sonic Repair on Thursday, August 7th and received great service from a young man. My girlfriend was having a problem w/her iPhone email. The young man was patient and attentive, and gave us great advice on how to solve the problem. We have been customers before, and will continue to be in the future! Frank P. Dwyer

This place was outstanding…..period! I went to/contacted three other places before finding this place and I won’t go anywhere else in the future! The guy that worked with me (he had a pony tail) was responsive, professional, knowledgeable, transparent, and very credible regarding my laptop that had crashed the same day. They charged me an extremely reasonable/fair $50 to fix it, run diagnostics on it, etc….when everyone else was quoting $175-$250!

I don’t know why all positive reviews these are all genuine? Ok let me explain my issue, I visited this shop on my laptop issue. They said $150 to repair it, due to some busy i went to after two months to get it repaired, they said price is $280. Same laptop with in two months why price changed they said I don’t know. Instead of paying $280 I can buy new one right. I saw their behavior is vary to different people. I can’t comment here on that. I don’t recommend it

My phone screen turned lime green and I had no idea what was going on. The folks at Sonic diagnosed the problem and then went out of their way to get the parts and repair it in one day. I was so grateful because I would have been without a phone for the weekend. Highly recommended!

I went there for help with taking a stripped screw out! I understand their base rate is $85 for labor. However, I did not appreciate with the customer service and how condescending the lady at the front desk was Update after getting the Google review response: My phone was never looked at. At the store, the estimate for fixing it was 30 minutes and the store does not know the actual situation of my phone so now in a review response saying "the labor estimate was 1 to 1.5 hours" is obscure. Second, my review has nothing to do with the price of the service! Rather the fact that I walk in and after explaining my situation, I am asked "How much I’m willing to pay" followed by a stare, before I am given the actual price!

ABSOLUTE SCAM OF A REPAIR STORE. SHADY PRACTICES AND AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. They gave a $299 quote for a repair on my phone, they said that they charge a non-refundable diagnostic fee of $50 NO MATTER IF THEY ARE ABLE TO DO THE REPAIR OR NOT. Being desperate, I accepted under the front desk's assurance that my phone is "probably" going to be fixed, and this is a just in case thing. Sure enough, they hold my phone for 3 days with no news. On the fourth day, I get a message saying 'come pick your phone up, we can't fix it because we can't find the faulty part'. I ask for information about the faulty part, and they give me none. Moreover the lady at the front desk has the audacity to act exasperated and condescending when I ask for information about which part exactly is broken, and acts as if I'm being rude and unreasonable for asking for my money's worth on the diagnostics. The positive reviews are probably fake accounts from China, don't trust them.

Highly recommend this place for any kind of phone repair! I have used this for a variety of phone fixes on my children’s phones- microphone repair, cracked glass, screen etc. and every time I have been greatly satisfied by the excellent quality of service and the timely response. Great customer service too. One stop shop for all phone problems. 5 stars! 🙂
