PODS Moving & Storage

Great experience!! Moved from Ohio to Arizona, stored our items for 1 year while our residence was built. On time deliveries and all of our items were in great shape when finally got to unload our POD!

10/16/25 Update: Per request from Pods I reached out and was assigned an advocate to review my file. After 2 weeks they responded and basically said they did everything correct.Case was closed. Never addressed the size differential or the different rates (not honoring the original rate.Very disappointing for a company the size they are. The containers are not 8 foot wide like advertised. They are only 7'6" (7'1" inside) wide on the exterior. Had to order second Pod (8x8) because of the space lost. Had to pay full price for second unit and would not honor my discount from my first one. I called multiple times and got lied to, hung up on and told nothing we could do. I was offered $100 dollars which is like a slap in the face. Once they get the sale and if there is a problem your bent over a barrel. Cost me more to ship the 8x8 than the 8x16 when both were on the same truck. Unhappy Pro's: The quote/sales team were awesome and the drivers at both ends of the move were awesome.

Booking the POD was delightful and easy and my issue was ultimately resolved. That's the only reason they are getting more than 1 star. I had used PODs before so thought of them for this move across the country - great not to have to pull a U-Haul!! I had agreed upon pick up and delivery dates that were changed by PODs through an email stating that they had made the change at MY REQUEST - I didn't make a request. The morning it was supposed to be picked up, I checked the time and all was good. About an hour later the email came delaying pick up for almost a week and redelivery for 2 weeks. That would mean I would be starting a new job without furniture (a bed), clothes, and supplies for almost a month. I had to make numerous calls over several days while driving across the country to get the issue resolved. I would have canceled the contract but, as stated, I was already driving and my things were being held prisoner in a storage facility. Thankfully my sister was with me so she could take over the driving while I sat on hold, got transferred and told the same thing over and over. As I said at the beginning, they did ultimately deliver the POD on the contracted date. I'm hoping I don't have to move again, but won't be using this service.

Shane delivered the Pod and Darnell picked it up. Both men were professional, friendly and courteous and I am happy to have met them. They are an asset to your company!

I loved my PODS experience. It was a very easy for me to load items into the POD and then the POD was picked up and delivered!! The only thing I wish could have gone differently is the itemization on the size of the POD I would recommend the agents being more thorough in the items that you need to put in your POD prior to renting it.

Wonderful service! I called PODS over the phone, set everything up, they came to my house on time, the day they said they would. My 2 year old son was so mesmerized by the truck and ill be honest, it was so cool to watch how they unloaded the POD. Here are some fantastic pictures so you can see how they do it. I have peace of mind knowing they load it this way. We are moving across the country and we are so satisfied with PODS! Way to go!

They managed to break the legs which are just small platform blocks for dressers, end tables, night stands - all of them. Then a driver picks up an empty container sweeps out EVERYTHING and puts it on my driveway and then leaves. I spent plenty of money on PODS - now broken furniture, added fees at every turn and then lets throw the trash on your driveway. Seriously?? This is really expensive and this is what you get?? From Nevada to Arizona
