Biggs Camera

I'm sure this is a great place - lots of film on the wall, but I was not accommodated. My need for infrared film development was not taken as a challenge, nor did anyone take much interest in helping me, although I relayed how much i needed a solution. I even offrred to load the film, but was put off. Staff were welcome to send me away, like the homeless guy on the front step. This photo geek was not welcomed.

I’ve sent Biggs a number of rolls to be processed and they always come out great! I just called and asked for some advice and they were extremely helpful with that as well. Biggs is a great local business and I look forward to continuing to work with them!

Extremely Sad and Disappointed. My soon to be mother in law came by to print a photo of her daughter (my fiancés sister) who passed away years ago so I could wear her around my neck in a locket. She was a child when she passed and some of the only photos the family has are original professionally taken. My mother in law was turned away due to a branding in the corner of one of the only photos left. Told she had to get a release signed in order to copy. Sounds fine right? Well the company who took this 30 years ago doesn’t exist anymore. No workarounds, no advice given. Turned down a mother who lost a child to print a photo for her son’s wedding. Not a good look and will not be back. The lack of empathy shown to her today was sad and not something to support. -Soon to be bride

Biggs is fantastic for photo printing & enlargements! We did an 11"x14" side-by-side with a CVS print recently, and the difference was shocking. The Biggs print was noticeably clearer, truer to color, printed on high-quality paper, and came flat in an envelope (instead of rolled up in a flimsy box). I’ll definitely be back! New go-to for prints!

I walked in to purchase a camera and had an employee named ed help me out right away and helped me decide and answered all my questions as a newbie to photography. Great place. Great workers!

I shoot film purely for fun and they are so friendly! Sometimes photo-people can be intimidating, but not here. I’ve dropped off maybe 8 rolls of film since moving to Charlotte last year and I’ve just never felt the need to look elsewhere. They communicate turnaround time at drop-off and it’s usually delivered even faster than what they quote you. Now, I shoot video professionally and the equipment rental process is just as recommend-able. I returned my second rental today and the experience was so easy that I felt like I should finally leave this place a glowing review for it.

I’ve been into Biggs twice now, and it’s always a great experience. I appreciate the care and expertise the staff brings and how efficient it is every time. I always appreciate a local shop and one that my friends also enjoy and cherish. Biggs is definitely the place to go, and I didn’t even realize they do visa/passport pictures for so much cheaper than places like CVS or Walgreens. I would stop by if your into film, cameras, or a good deal!
