I happen to be an innovator in cancer research, and as I was presenting on Zoom, my office chair was squeaking in the most embarrassing way….all was quiet, as I was presenting the most serious of work & every time I leaned into my research, or moved just slightly, the chair let out these horrible sounds. The location that I bought it from in Huntersville near Birkdale Village has closed so I googled the nearest one and called and I hit the jackpot when Todd picked up and after a little bit of an explanation, he said head on in and we’ll take care of this. When I walked in, I noticed immediately that there was a difference in this store. I love the layout by the way! And I can just tell that when Todd comes to work, he brings his full self and he intends on making customers happy. Office Depot should consider creating a manual, a model, based on Todd’s way of providing exemplary customer service! I highly recommend this store! If you visit, tell Todd I said hello! I hate I do not remember names!! The young man even wrote his name down for me! But I'll commend both male print associates at this location! I came in last week and needed to self service print. I thought I had it all figured out. I spent $50 on prints and they were all WRONG!! I couldn't even use the prints! Anyway throughout the process both young men were very helpful, patient and understanding and tried their best to help me figure out how to fix my prints when I came back to re-print them. By the way my initial visit was in the AM and I returned once I figured out the prints were no good and the original associate had left for the day but the PM associate was the same way!! I really felt like they cared & even though they had a ton of store orders to complete, they never made me feel like I wasn't an important customer because I had chose self-service instead of a call-in order! I would like to commend Todd King for his awesome customer service. He took time to help me find and set up a laptop computer and being so patient. I even left and came back because my log on didn't work and he got me all set up. I want him to know he is how all managers/customer care personal should be......Absolutely Amazing! Thank you Todd
The early morning staff is nice and gives you space to roam the store and very easy to approach when you have questions. You find everything for your business and first day of school for every grade level. They have a large set up of backpacks that are 25% off from the original price right now. They also carry my favorite notebook brand Five Star and they have them right up front near the entrance to your left after coming around the corner.
This is a typical Office Depot store. I saw sticker shock on the office chairs. The mid-range price was in the $500 dollar range. They had a few for sale but they weren't that comfortable. They seems to have a good size of stock but some supplies or choices were limited to a few brands. Check out my photos. The younger crowd working there was a little unfriendly. New world attitude o guess.
I needed some copies made, from a PDF that I had been sent. Google search listed this particular business as one that fit my specific needs. I called ahead of time to make sure that they were capable of assisting me. Amazingly enough, whenever I called ahead of time, a real live human being answered the phone and assured me that they would be able to help me. Located inside of a shopping center, there was plenty of parking space available. There was also handicap parking throughout and everything was handicap accessible as well. The store was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, extremely organized, well lit and everything was clearly marked. There were also staff members ready to assist you, if the need arose. I was directed to the printing section where and extremely professional and knowledgeable staff member named Yvanna provided me with assistance. She was outgoing with a most pleasant personality and my file was downloaded and printed in a matter of minutes. From office furniture, to office supplies, sanitizing and cleaning agents, to common household items that I wouldn't have ever expected for sale. There were a plethora of items for almost all of your wants and needs. If you took the time to read this review, please take a 1/2 second and click like. Thank you.
If you wanted more information if they do same day printing ( NO THEY DONT) unless is just a regular paper you need in black and white or color. They no longer help you print out, you have to do it online. If their website was easy to maneuver it would be great but they have so much it’s super confusing. If you need to print ( GO TO STAPLES OR FEDEX). Customer survives 1/5 stars. I tried to place my order in their page, could never do it. I looked up for other options and found fedex and place my order in 5 minute .
