Food City

This grocery store has everything! The hot food selection looked fantastic, hot and fresh. The deli was stocked up and all looked great. I picked up a bouquet of flowers and some sushi for my wife. The flowers still look great after 4 days. The pharmacy was easy and quick. Very easy walk from where we stayed.

Went to grand opening in the afternoon. Store was pretty crowded. Seems like there is ample parking and even though the store was crowded, it was easy to take your cart up and down the aisles. Produce section was good, had everything I might need. Meat and seafood counters looked great. Salad bar was crowded, so didn't get a look. Good wine selection, nice floral department, smallish pharmacy area. They had quite a few prepared items to take home and cook. Also, pizza by the slice and warm food items to go or eat there. Everything you might need for regular grocery items are probably available. Not a very big greeting card selection, but good enough. Overall a good experience. Will probably become my go to grocery store.

This store was immaculate, and the crab legs were great. The medium-skinned male steamed my crab legs with the Cajun seasoning, which he was very nice!

I can not thank Jared enough for his constant support of our community and our school! The images are 3 different events that he and Food City have sponsored for our school. 1. Hispanic and Black History Heritage event. 2. Thanksgiving and Christmas food boxes. 3. Our school store for positive behavior rewards. The store itself is brand new, clean, and beautiful. The workers are all friendly and helpful. And I have one coworker who goes almost daily to the hot food section for lunch who loves that, too!

Fresh, well stocked, beautiful grocery store! Check out the deli and ready-made food items along with the $5.00 meat and two side dinner specials. Enjoy your deli purchase at the comfortable indoor/outdoor bar and dining area. Excellent selection of all grocery items in a convenient downtown location.

Went in at 3:00 pm to have lunch and get a few groceries. The hot bar was not appetizing at all. Looked like it definitely been sitting there since 11. Most items overcooked and dried out. The Chinese section not much better. Sushi looked better and the deli section was ok. People not overly friendly. Meat dept was not up to par either. Maybe I will try Publix next time.

The Depot at Food City is great! Everyday Happy Hour 4pm-7pm! The Depot is a bar inside the grocery store near the Broad St side, selling beer and wine with a weekly rotating drink menu, TVs for sports or events, tables inside and outside on the really cool patio (patio also has TVs). This is a great spot to hang and watch your favorite game during happy hour!
