Recently bought a 700 Tenere, traveling over from Murphy, NC. Lots of good things to say about the experience. Enjoyed the shop; lots of moto eye candy! Trey worked with me over the phone and email - always promptly - to negotiate pricing on the bike, and they were willing to work with me based on some lower prices I found online (regionally). Closing the deal with Andy in person was great as well; we spent quite a bit of time just taking, getting to know each other, and establishing the kind of rapport you want with a dealer that you know you’ll be working with in the future. The rest of the guys were friendly as well, and they got the bike loaded up while we finished paperwork. I’m definitely looking forward to a long-term partnership.

We have a 2019 Yamaha jet boat with maybe 50 hours on it. We took it in July 2024 for a display issue. The boat ran, it was just the display had an issue. The boat set there for several months. October came around so we had them to winterize it. In December we were told a Yamaha tech replaced the display and that they also replaced the main control relay. We were told to pick up our boat at that time, as everything was fixed. This is in the dead of winter. We took it straight from Mountain Motorsports and locked the boat up in our private garage until spring rolled around, where we took it to a different business to be dewinterized. To be clear, we have used this separate business year after year for all of our watercraft and never had an issue. This separate business has always been really good to us. This separate business called us to say the boat would not run. After troubleshooting, they finally figuring out the main control relay (bolted in fuse) was missing from our boat, electrical was loose and unplugged, and missing a 50 amp fuse. So we called the last people to touch our boat, Mountain motorsports. The service manager told us he would look into it and call back. He never returned our call. After I recovered from surgery, weeks later, I went directly down there to speak with the service manager and to make it short, they are not at all willing to assist or even look into it what happened. He shrugged his shoulders with an "I dont know what to tell you. That is odd." He is pointing his finger at the other business that dewinterized the boat but there are so many reasons why that does not make sense. I tried to be understanding and brought up that i could see if a technician took a part from my boat to put on another just to see if that was the issue with the other boat but he swears up and down that is not their policy, they would never do that, and swears that his least tenured technician has been there 7 years; however, he also told my husband that the technician that worked on our boat is no longer employed there. Well, after paying parts and labor for a new main control relay, fixing the wires and amp, we finally put the boat in the water for the first time since Mountain Motorsports touched our boat and.... now it wont move in the water. It runs, but wont move. When we dropped it off with them, it was only a display issue. The boat ran at that time. We are already in the hole several, several, hundred dollars, weeks away from a Florida trip which the main purpose for this trip is to bring our boat that we cannot use now, and there is no telling how much more this will cost or what else may be missing from our boat. Still to this day, Mountain Motorsports has yet to try and rectify the issues or even investigate. Absolutely disgusting service. We have several watercraft and will not be back. Even if we have to drive 2 hours out to a different Yamaha authorized mechanic. I really regret ever dropping my boat off with them. Edited to add: Its sad to hide behind a "change of ownership" as the excuse for why we were taken advantage of. To be clear, new ownership occurred September 2024. Our boat had sat at your facility waiting for a Yamaha service tech until it was first touched in October, which was for the winterization that you all did, so this definitely occurred under your ownership. Also, you all have my contact. If you actually wanted to show inititive to make it right, you would reach out to me. There is a reason you see others complaining of missing parts as well. Dont believe me? Look at the other reviews. This isn't a coincidence. Its problematic.

I'll be fair. I wasn't expecting much after the disappointments from the visits I had at Sevierville and Gadson Mountain Motorsports.. but this dealer ship proved to be a lot better. sure they didn't have much in the way of motorcycles, and they had way too many boats for me, and I'm not interested in a side by side. but the salesman(Jim) I spoke with was very friendly and helpful. he offered me a good deal on a NEW DM650 Suzuki,, but I didn't care for the color of the one they had in stock(white). he said they could get the black model from a different store. the salesman tried to get me a better deal and he spoke with some guy sitting at a desk in the center of the showroom. I don't know who the dude was, but he seemed to have a real attitude,, did not care for him at all. needless to say I walked away without getting a bike,, maybe in the future. I bought my GSX-S1000 GT from Mountain Motorsport in Roswell, GA. 2 years ago. i liked dealing with them,, it's just too far to drive. I was hoping the store in Chattanooga would be very similar. it's truly not.. Roswell has a much larger selection of motorcycles to choose from,,, new and used.

We showed up without an appointment after our side by side through up a code. We were from out of state. The whole team was amazing and worked us in and got our ride up and going in a few hours. Amazing facility. Highly recommend mountain motor sports Chattanooga.
