Excel Truck Group - Chesapeake

I’d like to thank Technician Travis Peirce for getting me back up and running. His knowledge was thorough and diagnosed the issue as faulty connections. He immediately went to work disconnecting various connections in the engine bay, after plugging in the computer and he showed me briefly how there was a substance and some paint where it shouldn’t have been from the assembly line. He gave me some tips for future reference, offered his business card and told me briefly about the Excel Truck Group network. Special thanks to Brett in Service as well, he’s professional and appreciated. Thank you both and I hope Travis is working if I ever have an issue in your area again!! Recently had my diesel RV serviced here (second time). Normal annual maintenance on chassis/engine/generator. Also had transmission serviced. Work was done quickly and correctly. Want to thank Jerry (service manager), Brett, and Jane. All easy to work with and always happy to answer questions that I have. Coach was well protected to prevent anything from dirtying the interior during service. Will certainly use them in the future. Dave

I needed a state inspection and an oil change for my RV. Unfortunately my regular go to shop (RV dealer) closed and my backup activity couldn’t accommodate due to an injury of the inspector. Excel was suggested and I’m glad it was. Check in was easy and professional. Work was accomplished significantly ahead of the promise date. High recommend Excel to other RV owners. Thanks Excel!

Owner Operators Beware!!! Had a low nox effenciency code on my truck and it triggered the mil light. Told them the situation and how the truck began to derate. Instead of doing the SCR Test first, they connected the diagnostics tool and did everything else... Changed water pump, venure pipe, fan clutch; sensors etc... kept my truck a week. Finally I get the truck back next week and the light pops right back on. I let them know what happened, They hook up diagnostics again to then tell me the code is "low nox conversion"!?!. I said that first!! Almost $4,000 later, Now they want to do an SCR Test!! They told me it needed an SCR test, but they didnt do this test correctly to tell me about any faults. They just let my truck regen for 6hrs, no info on nox sensors, def pump, doser valve, just lies...and said truck has to stay over night. Pretty much allow the regen process to get the numbers up, still charged me 479 for that as well.Get there Jerry looked me in my face and told me they got the numbers back up, no info on anything bad,nox sensors, def pump etc. I knew they got me again when I saw the paperwork. Stated they cleaned the def and doser valve and I see I was charged for 2 doser valve screws and the gasket. I purchased the doser valve screws some 2 weeks prior to do it myself but didnt replace it yet. I walk to my truck and still see the (same old screws)on the doser valve, I leave again and the light comes back on. I call and Brit tells me the one box could be failing. Thanks man, I wish you guys said that sooner. These people have no integrity, im working on youtube video about how dirty these businesses are!!

Where to start. When in needing some airline and fitting for my truck. Ashley was quick to say hello and to help me out. She went to grab the parts asap. Even gave me the same part with different size thread just incase. Thanks alot to Ashley super friendly and a big help. Had gone back to store to return some parts and ask about some more stuff. This time was greeted by David as soon as he saw me. Was quick to help me with my return and trying to help me solve another problem. David I as very polite and respectful as well. Thanks again Excel for the help. I recommend them for parts and help. All the store staff is friendly and willing to help. Asome store ya'll deserve the 5 stars.
