DICK'S Sporting Goods

I never thought of shopping for soccer or baseball items at Dick’s Sporting Goods store but since my niece had reminded me that one was nearby our home (Chula Vista), I decided to give Dick’s a try. Mission Valley was the other location I had in mind but wasn’t feeling an 18 mile drive that day. It was a couple weekend mornings ago when my niece stopped by to look for soft ball equipment. With staff’s helpful assistance, she was able to get all the age appropriate items for my 7 year old granddaughter. I then picked up the saved items later that day and made my purchase. Since I was on limited time, I made a quick stop at the baseball section just to get some ideas on prices. Prior to making it over to the register, I also skimmed through some clothing racks that were right in front of the register area. Nothing interesting popped out. I thought to myself that stuff was no different than shopping at a Nike, Adidas or Under Armor outlet store. Not exactly impressed with the prices but I must say Dick’s takes the cake on heavy stock on sporting goods and sportswear. I didn’t have to look at every area of the store but it was clear to me, the store was packed with merchandise. One-stop shop. With regards to customer service, I don’t recall being greeted when I first entered the store but from my observation, there was a good amount of staff readily available at each register. I was second in line, moving right along, no issues here. On same note, staff members on the floor appeared to be busy while customers were moving throughout store. The male cashier that rang up my purchases was friendly and polite. He also tried to up-sale me on other items related to my purchases, but I declined. Not really sure if I would shop at Dick’s sporting goods again due to their merchandise being on the pricey side. However, I definitely know where to go should Big 5, Walmart or Target be out of stock on sporting good items. In conclusion, I would have rather waited until I was able to actually shop around a little bit more before giving a fair rating on my shopping experience. So, for now, despite being it was short and quick, it’s safe to say, Dick’s sporting goods has everything Almost.

Jasmine who works here is amazing. She went above and beyond to help me find some pants I thought were impossible to find. She even went and got a plethora of options. I am very pleased and she is an amazing working. Very articulate and her enthusiasm about her job shows she loves it. Thank you for hiring her.

This location is their standard store which was clean and well stocked. I use to shop at one of their extra large 2 floor stores in the Dallas area. Dick’s has grow on me over the years. Now I regularly purchase my shorts and t-shirts from them, plus other small items. At this location, by coincidence, I’ve had the same lady help me several times. She’s been super helpful. Unfortunately I didn’t get her name. Today I was looking for a sturdy canopy but everything they had in stock wasn’t rated very well. My search continues but I will shop here again in the future.

I went in to get some running shoes. The lady didnt want to help me at all. Even though she had some shoes I wanted, she didn't want to allow me to buy them. I'm a very polite person. There was no reason for her attitude at all. She might have been just racist. She constantly asked me if I had the money to even buy the shoes. I needed shoes so I bought 3 pairs - my total was like $800 dollars. Something like that. Her whole attitude was completely unnecessary. I really needed the shoes so I had to like beg her to give me the shoes bc I needed them that day. Horrible experience.

Esta tienda realmente se enfoca a resolver necesidades deportivas por qué le dan su importancia a la mayoría de los deportes ya que no es la clásica tienda de deportes que en su mayoría es de ropa y calzado casual de moda y solo por tener uña pelotas ya se dicen ser deportivas. Aquí en contraras desde baseball hasta lacross, soccer , americano, basquetbol, fitness , golf, senderismo en fin hay un mundo de accesorios . Esta muy bien ubicado y los precios son promedio.

Bought a pair of Nikie running shoes n my experience was terrible with customer service. Today, I went back for a camping tent n employees simply just passes me by.. To be honest, I just walked out n I am never going back. Lol, cuz that's what happens when you hire nothing but kids.

This branch is good stocks of Cleats, Shoes and main items on sports ( baseball -> Bat, gloves ) I think it’s not enough sporting clothes. But there are some clearance/ price down booth at every corner ! Staffs are very kindly and good smiles!
