I love that this store is conveniently located near many family residences. It's smack dab in the middle of the neighborhood. The store is clean & well kempt. Selection of produce is fresh & arranged in an appealing manner. Other grocery items are neatly displayed. Meat Market, Bakery, Ready made hot food, are all available within the store & manned by competent & hardworking individuals. They even have a small jewelry business with a quaint selection of silver & gold. They have a combination of friendly staff all around except at thecheck out register's. There's a few female checkers with negative attitudes that come out of the woodwork & I've considered not returning for that reason. But I give them the benefit of the doubt, they could just be having a bad day. This is why I gave it a 4 star rating. I prefer to be waited on by individuals that enjoy waiting on people otherwise, they need to switch them out & assign them a different task.
Unfortunately, I got food poisoning and had a really bad experience, I even had a fever afterward. Later, some of my coworkers told me they also got sick after eating there. I truly hope the restaurant improves its food safety and quality control, because this was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had.
I loved shopping here until today, purchased taco meat & was putting it into a tupperware when I saw some black/purple looking pieces that grossed me out so I started to take them out. Not sure why there are different looking meats. In response to what garden farms commented back to me, I know that the meat is marinated I chose it. I want to know why there are 3 different looking meats in the "taco meat"? & what are those black/purple pieces that I took out? I’m not taking anything back to the store I threw it away. I will no longer shop here & will no longer recommend this store to people.
I was going to my office one block ahead of this store and I always use my scooter to get to my office. I thought to buy a coke for my meal break and visited this store. The staff got too aggressive to me just because I was trying to buy a can of coke. They don't have a secure site for scooters and I was just grabbing a can of coke. Awful experience and completely lack of understanding of the needs of your community, not everyone is getting there in car!!! I left the place without any drama but they kept making a fuss about my scooter. Shame on you!!!!
I really like the flour tortillas. But their machine is always down. The rice and beans are not good. The items of the store are more pricey than other places. It's the second time I get something that turns bad really fast. Both times were the cheeses. There is always a big line to pay. In the meat department, employees are talking with each other, and they don't acknowledge you until you ask them if they can help you.
I only came back for the 999 chicken entree. Put after looking. That's some of the products they offered. I hesitates use any money there for I bought a 399 coconut that was refunded after I found out it had mold inside of it completely covered in mold. It was. So I recommend choosing another market, especially since the garlic is a product of china I got a refund
Great place to purchase prepared meat and chicken for grilling. Great and consistent flavors. Produce and fresh tortillas are high quality.
