Harbor Freight

Today, I bought myself a toy..it is a Gordon High precision metal detector from Harbor Freight located in Chula Vista in San Diego, California. They have cool machinery from Generators, Hand Trucks, Solar Lights, Hydraulic Jacks, Tool Storage Box, Saw Blades, Compressors, Air Tools, ladders, sockets, and more. So, if you are a mechanic, carpenter, electrician, or tinker of sorts, you will love Harbor Freight for their reasonable prices, and U.S made tools. Come down, come in, and check them out for yourself. You only live once, buy the best from the best. Harbor Freight. Tell them Aunty Esther sent you..ok, time for me to play with my brand new toy. This place is great. Good location. Fair hours. Good selection, good tools, and prices. The employees do their job even if they aren’t happy to do it. They’re a few that aren’t jaded jerks and are actually nice intelligent people, but I’m sure that they’ll find better work soon elsewhere. They could do a better job with their product availability. They seem to run out of inventory very quickly and frequently.

I went on a Tuesday morning and the line wasn't long and moved fast. The associate was super friendly and efficient. I easily found what I needed and the price was better than the big box stores. No complaints.

Just a quick stop to pick up a stapler. But once I got inside, I start wandering around looking at all the great deals on all the tools I would never use. Honestly just exciting walking up and down the aisles looking at everything. I think I was a contractor in my past life. So anywho, great tools, great prices, go there for tools.

Poor customer service. Staff is not willing to help. Manager looks like she doesn’t want to be here at all. She hardly helped me find what i wanted and gave me the wrong information about the product i had to go back and look for what i was missing. 10/21/25. They were giving free hats with a purchase of 29 Dlls, I did a purchase for more than 70 Dlls. They did not even offer me a hat when all other customers in front of me were offered.

Great Quality tools at a very affordable price. Just bought some air tools here and they all work great. The Mini Hammer Chisel is very compact and powerful for it's size. Also Great customer care. Very clean facility. I recommend this store.

Omg, I really hate buying supplies from this place, it is soooo slow to check out. If it wasn't for being a great place to buy tools for the right price, and my staff sends me there for supplies, i would go somewhereI can get in and out in a timely manner. . My time is valuable and everyone in this store is working in slow motion. -Very Frustrated
