World Market

近所だったので、気になり言ってみたところ雑貨から世界の様々な保存食売ってました！！サッポロの乾麺も売っていて何かの時には使えそうです！ 飲み物も日本でもみたことない日本酒やコーヒーなど、さまざまな国の食に触れられる面白いお店です。 雑貨も可愛いもの多いです！

I purchased a candle set (set of 2) online for pickup in store. When I picked up my order, there was only one candle in the bag. I informed the girl at the register.. we both looked at the printed receipt which clearly stated "S/2." She then asked to see my email confirmation order, which stated the same thing but yet she stood there hesitant. Another employee came over to the register to look up item. After 10 minutes he also insisted that the order was for only one candle. I even pulled up the website on my phone, he reached over to select "add to cart" on my phone to further verify and even though it was still indicating a set of 2, he stood there hesitant as well. The male employee left to go to the back of the store for another 10 minutes and finally came back with the second candle and his response was "we are going to go ahead and give you another candle." He said this as if though he was doing me a favor. You did not GIVE me another candle. I PAID for a set of 2 candles. It should not have taken 20 minutes of me having to prove that I made a legitimate purchase when it was CLEARLY stated on the website and on my receipt! I am not sure if it was incompetence on the employees' behalf or just their lack of professionalism. A simple "We apologize for the inconvenience or for the misunderstanding on our part" would have sufficed. I did not receive an apology and I could not believe both employees made such a hassle over a candle as if though I was begging them for a free item. Very poor customer service.

Wow! I have gone to other World Markets before and I like this one so far. The way they decorated was very open an full of light. They do have so much products it is amazing. I like the fast that is so close to home and when ever I feel like eating German food or any other different foods they carry them. It is nice, they staff is nice and Kind. When I asked them is I could take pictures the young lady at the counter ask me to please ask her manage and Marisol was so awesome! I asked her if I could take pictures she said please do! I love how nice she was and how graciously she allowed me to take pictures. Some stores don't let you take pics or are a bit weird. When it came to my shopping experience was very rewarding. Their prices are decent and you can find all kinds of different stuff. I am not a Wine, beer or liquor connoisseur I enjoy my little drink here and there with my wife and at dinner, let me tell you this guys have a lot to chose from. Their prices were reasonable and the shopping experience was very nice, I am planning on bringing my wife next time I am sure she will love it!

Bought a knife sharpener the young man was kind and said no problem bring it back if it doesn’t work. I have very expensive knives and I need a special sharpener. Anyway , the young lady at the register did not make me feel comfortable returning it and took a while to agree that this was returnable. I will not shop there again.

Loved the experience. Very helpful staff. Ready to help in getting something there or when/if out of stock, are very willing to help you with your online order. They even helped me navigate my own smartphone to signup for World Market Rewards, where I saved 30% for my signing up.Wow! Thanks!!

No matter when I come to this world market they take forever to checkout people. It is constantly a 20 minute wait. They seem to just not staff the register with enough people.
