Sure they are great but when I called about key replacement prices and say okay i will be there tomorrow. I should of been told come the following they are off on Weds and not have me drive a 1 hr to get there just for the nice cashier at the entrance to say they are off today come back tommorow

Extremely knowledgeable, very friendly and super polite staff ! They custom-made most of my home's window screens , no other hardware store in the area does it. They have their own small work shop which you don't find at those big chain hardware stores. Every time I go to them for something, they're super helpful to me ! In short they help you with things that big chain hardware stores don't help you with. Excellent customer service !!! Thank you Don !!!

After getting the runaround from Honda and a local locksmith to re-program my immobilizer "chip keys" to start my 2007 Honda Fit, I was told to call Silverton Hardware. Todd hooked up his machine to my car, and 5 minutes later, I am in business for a fraction of what I was quoted elsewhere! It is a breath of fresh air when dealing with a place that knows their stuff. 5 Stars!

I *love* this hardware store. They always have everything you need, and some hard-to-find items, all reasonably priced. The staff is always super-friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I get what I need, in and out in under 10 minutes. MUCH more pleasant than driving 5 miles to wander around the nearest big box home improvement store where you are lucky if you can even find someone to help you/answer a question correctly.

My only complaint is they are not open very late. They have always had what I needed and you don't have to buy 100 when you just need 3. Sure they might be a little higher priced than the box stores but the quick in and out is so worth every penny. In addition, they have odd fasteners you just can't find at the box stores and people who actually have some knowledge.

I love coming into this Hardware store! The staff is very friendly and they take the time to help me plan my various projects from start to finish, including choosing the right materials and tools for the job. They offer the type of personal care and attention that is so often missing in the big "box stores"
