With the recent intense heat, we’ve needed some new window air-conditioning units. We ordered one for our house from Home Depot and when it arrived It was dented. I contacted customer service. In a matter of moments, they had offered me a full refund even if we wanted to keep the unit. We were grateful for this option because we wanted to install it and cool off our house. About a week later, we bought another unit for our church. It was slow in getting delivered. The communication about if it was delivered was bad we had to make a phone call to straighten it out. This one was dented as well. We had an event the next day and really wanted to install it. It was a more expensive unit so I didn’t expect a full refund but was hoping for a sizable amount. This time, I had a lot of trouble communicating with support. I was texting for over an hour. The best they could do is 15% this time. They said the one time courtesy could not be offered again. It makes no sense to me that when a company does the same wrong thing, which is probably the shipping company’s fault and they should be reprimanded by Home Depot, that I cannot get the same treatment. We didn’t ask them to dent two of our air conditioners. So be careful and inspect your boxes before you receive them!

Home Depot on Ridge Ave have everything I was looking for on a Saturday morning. Than Thank You The prices was great. Nice atmosphere in the store every staff was helpful. Very clean store. Enjoy my trip to.

The worst home improvement store on the planet! Staff is lazy and seems like their feet are stuck in mud constantly as they move at a glacial pace constantly. The customer service department acts as if they’re annoyed to even be talking to you even though their whole job is to solve issues, normally resulting from another store associate failing to do their job. Order fulfillment is absolutely terrible. You will sit in curbside for an hour waiting for your stuff. If you go in to pick it up, you’re likely to find the attendant going back into the area where the orders are playing on her phone for 20 minutes and then coming out and telling you, she can’t find it while a line of 10+ people wait impatiently because they’ve already been in line for 20 minutes. I can’t name a single time where I had a pleasant experience at this store. The Lowe’s nearby and every other Home Depot in the country is better than this one. It is clear no one in this store shows any amount of pride in their work. The drive to another store is worth every second because you will still be waiting for your order/help by the time you drive across town and pick the order yourself.

Home Depot, you might want to contact your manufacturer, Everbilt, about this one. Bought it online because I couldn't find it in the store, even though the app said there were 12 in stock. It was a piano hinge that was 48 inches long. When I picked it up, it was only 12 inches long...however, the packaging showed 48. Got immediate refund but nothing for my time and expense to pick up the wrong product. Not even a coupon. Disappointing.

Every time I walk in I get greeted and I have made a couple trips back-and-forth recently to HOME DEPOT and everyone was so patient and kind. We had an issue with our rope and Celeste (The manager) very understanding.

I had a very disappointing experience at Home Depot today. I came in on a Monday morning to return a few items and planned to purchase additional supplies. Unfortunately, the representative who assisted me, Lori, had a horrible attitude from the start. She was short, abrupt, and visibly irritated throughout the interaction. Instead of making the process smooth, she made it stressful and unpleasant—definitely not the way you want to start your week. What made it worse is that when I shared my experience with the manager, his response was a half-hearted sigh followed by, "Well, I apologize." Almost like- what else do you want me to say? It felt empty and dismissive, as if my concern didn’t matter at all. This entire experience left me a bit frustrated and honestly reconsidering where I shop. Lowe’s has consistently provided me with friendlier, more professional service—and after this, I can see why customers prefer them.
