Gateway Tire & Service Center

I arrived there between 2:00 and 2:15 and was out of there at 2:48. I had my two granddaughters with me and the lady behind the counter was very good with them. She was also very nice, helpful and I cannot say enough good things about her. I would definitely recommend this Gateway.

I came here for a simple wheel alignment and oil change, but left with a charge for a diagnostic I never agreed to. They told me the alignment couldn’t be done because of worn control arms — which is fine — but I was never informed there would be a diagnostic fee if they couldn’t do the job. No one called me, no one asked permission, and I feel blindsided by the charge. I would have appreciated transparency and clear communication.I spoke with the manager Jeremy Strickland and he stated because the person answering the phone explains if they cannot complete the job they will tell you why but they do not explain you will be charged $49.99. It’s shady, unethical and an easy way to up-charge you for services you did not approve. I cannot recommend a business that performs or charges for services without customer approval.

This is the best Veteran owned tire shop in Clarksville. I always get excellent service from tires to breaks. They are honest about what your vehicle needs. Save your money and go to Gateway Tire & Service Center.

I cannot say enough good things about this shop! From the moment I walked in, everyone was SO kind and welcoming. They actually listened to me, kept me informed every step of the way, and treated me with genuine care and respect. Their mechanic(s) are absolute wizards, my car is running better than it was even when I thought it was fine. I could literally feel the difference the moment I drove off. You guys have no idea how much I appreciate you all. I won’t ever take my car anywhere else. Thank you for everything! (P.S. DANG one of y'all is real tall. LOL!)

Can’t say enough good things. My car needed an alignment bad, wouldn’t drive straight and I had an 8 hour trip to drive tomorrow. I called the other gateway tire on 41a initially, because my husband had a great experience there. I was surprised to see they closed at 5, not 7 like I thought, and called to see if they could fit me in. They said absolutely, they’d have time. Got there and was told unfortunately they’d just pulled someone else back and wouldn’t be able to take mine. It happens, the other person wasn’t anticipated, I get it. But I was frantic and desperate so I called this shop and they said head on over, they’d stay open late if they had to to get me taken care of. I kid you not these guys were done in like 15 mins, they stayed open late for me, the car drives perfectly, and they had the CUTEST shop dog that my 5 year old got to play with while we waited. 12/10 will not go anywhere else from here on out! Thank you guys!

Called this morning about my truck and the crazy sounds it was making. Jodi was extremely friendly and got me in right away. I got my truck there about 30 minutes later. Not long after, they called with a diagnosis and an estimate. They had the truck ready later that afternoon and out the door cheaper than estimated! This was my first time coming here and I will only use Gateway. The team is very warm and friendly. Highly recommend!

They were courteous, funny and gave a good time estimate when dropping off vehicle. And they have the best furry greeter ever!!
