Customer Reviews
The Home Depot has a rating of 4.2 out of 5 based on over 2069 reviews on Google
My husband had a building project that required lots of various cuttings of wood, and Sean was incredibly kind and helpful throughout the entire process of hunting for various types of wood as well as cutting everything to the appropriate size. I also witnessed a shift change of sorts during the time we were there, where the person leaving transferred over a list of things he "didn’t get to" that needed to be completed, and Sean was professional and kind thorough the whole exchange, even though it appears he got stuck completing a laundry list of tasks from the previous shift all while trying to help us. Anyways, just wanted to commend him on his kindness and professionalism through the entire process. Thanks bud! Ben and I appreciate you!
Went inside with my mother to get screws and Belinda the cashier at the front was very disrespectful my mom is a veteran and she would not apply the discount even though my mother showed her the ID. She proceeded to stand infront of the register in the way and I couldn't even put in my number so it could be looked up. Even though we have been to this same location before and they manually put in the discount for veterans she refused and we went to lowes instead. JUST LOST A CUSTOMER FOR LIFE BECAUSE BELINDA HAS POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE
I would. ot recommend trusting this store to take care of a Pro Account. I had then deliver 6 pallets of concrete for a large backyard project and after two week of work to dig, pour footer, get inspections and pour the walls we were getting ready to pour the roof of a storm shelter and one of the last three pallets had been delivered damaged and cured already. Contacted the store manager and he said coukdnt help me because I didn't find it on day of delivery. Corporate had a different tune and took care of my Pro account and refund every bag that was damaged and the delivery cost. This manager has no understanding of how to take care of his biggest customers the Pro accounts.
The staff went above and beyond to get us what we needed. Great service from everyone! Cashier helped me get a credit card..she was the best! I choose this spot for my Halloween stuff every year hands down! The prices are usually a little better here folks...
My visit was great. Sean helped me to find the wood that I needed and checked it over to make sure each piece was good. He then cut it to the size I needed. He was very friendly and patient with me. Then there was Susan at the register received me with a glowing smile and a hello. She was also very helpful and patient in pulling up my account to check my military discount. These two made my morning wonderful. You can catch both of them at Home Depot Clarksville in the mornings.
In general, I’ve always had good experiences at Home Depot Clarksville. However, there’s a customer service associate named Mindy (if I recall correctly) whose attitude is consistently rude and unprofessional. She’s often in a bad mood, snorting and complaining out loud, making customers feel uncomfortable. On one occasion, I returned several items that had different receipts. She became visibly desperate, saying it was to much, and decided to process the returns using my ID instead of scanning all the receipts (which I had with me). I didn’t think much of it at the time. Weeks later, I ordered an item online that never arrived. When I contacted the Home Depot to get a refund, I was shocked to find out I had been flagged and banned from returns, supposedly for "excessive returns without receipts." Seriously? The returns were made with receipts, but due to her handling, it was processed as if they weren’t. Fortunately, another associate, who was very kind and professional, took the time to understand the situation, even involving a manager to help me get my money back right away. Their helpful attitude made a huge difference and I truly appreciated it. It’s disappointing that such poor customer service could escalate into an unnecessary problem for a loyal customer.
I just had the most condescending experience. I was walking alone to the aisle that I needed to go on, but it was closed off by the gate. I casually said to my son "oh, it looks like it’s blocked off." A young male employee then appeared and said "you go down this aisle?" I said "yes." He said "what do you need?" I said "a trowel." He said "a what." I repeated myself and further explained "like a trowel that you used to spread out mortar." He says "I still don’t know." I had my phone in my hand because I was using it looking up where trowels would be for this particularHome Depot store. So I casually just showed the item I was looking for to him. He quickly said "oh it looks like it’s not in stock at this store." I then said "yea, I’m just looking for any trowel." He then says "well yeah it would be on this aisle." (That’s what the phone said) Like I’m stupid. That’s why I’m here. I showed him this picture as a reference since he seem to not be able to understand what I was talking about. Mind you he came up to me I never bothered this man or asked for his "help." He was then like well they are finishing up and should be done soon." Also note I never tired to go down the aisle. I was just walking towards where I needed to go. "I said I’ll just go and come back." I left went I came back it was still blocked off and he was no where to be found. I honestly didn’t mind waiting but he ticked me off so bad that I just left and went to Lowe’s and got what I needed. Just because he didn’t know what I was talking about doesn’t mean I didn’t know what I was talking about. I don’t think he would have spoke to a man in such a condescending way and that whole interaction was not asked for or needed. To be fair, I will say that I’ve had great experiences with other employees in the past, but this experience was just so bad that it just needs to be noted!!!
