Cos Way Bait & Tackle

Made a stop for bait and ended up staying to fish at the pier. Restrooms are not the best but better than portal potties. The guys were very helpful and knowledgeable. They weren’t the friendliest but they weren’t rude. Make sure to check out all their inventory. They have a good selection of fishing sticks and tackle. We also enjoyed the pier. Everyone was friendly. We caught lots of catfish but you can see other fish jumping out the water.

Best bait time early morning when the boats return as they have fresh live bait and a bigger pick sometimes. Always have a live bait set up in your trucks in a part that’s shaded and cool and if you don’t use a boat have ways to bucket out water and put fresh water every Few hours and they’ll live for days if needed plus when your ready to leave take out live bait cook it and have little meal if shrimp or other eats wink wink

We came here for the first time on July 9th. They were not busy. They charged us $2 per person just to walk onto the pier, even for the ones that were not going to fish. That didn't seem right. The pier itself was pretty disgusting. They should do a regular cleaning of the benches and workstation surfaces. The nastiness was obviously there for a long time. Overall we had a good experience with fishing there.

Came to buy some bait and winded up falling in love with the shop cat! I highly recommend this shop and make sure you give Blackjack some pets while you’re in.

An older fishing pier that makes good fishing accessible to all. Family friendly. Good number of people when I was there. Take advantage of the spring black drum run. I’ll be back!

The nicest people ever. We parked the RV and car for $8.00. Fishing pier was nice. The wind was not. Will return on our next trip. P.S. They have coffee.
