WoodSpring Suites Corpus Christi

The hotel appears warn out, elevator was working but we were told they are "Waiting on a part" but we shouldn't get stuck!. according to my partner, the room did not look like the picture online. She thought we were getting a king size bed, but it was a queen size bed. The bed was on a movable metal frame bed that squeaked every time we moved in it. There was a live roach in the small drawer. After first night we put towels to be exchanged when housekeeping came but apparently there is no daily housekeeping service because room was in same condition we left it in. I took dirty towels down to exchange, and lady told me that there were no clean towels because they were in the dryer and wouldn't be done until later. She did not offer to have towels delivered, so we ended up using our own towels. Value should not be at these standards. It was not a pleasant experience.

Didn't know what to expect before I got here given the price and location. I called and talked to Cathy beforehand and when I asked if the rooms were renovated or modern, basically how are they, she told me it has your basic needs is all. Was a bit intimidated by the response but still gave it a chance and I couldn't complain. This is not the nicest hotel nor the best of areas but it's not that bad either and it's clean. The service and employees treated me kindly and we're courteous anytime I needed anything. I found there is community here and many people meet and socialize and get along. My room provided me with my needs as promised and I was happy with my bed and shower, which mean most to me in hotel stays. The fridge and stove top work just fine and my ac was very cold. I did not have any bugs and my sheets and towels were like new. In addition I never had any noise issues with anyone staying around me. Other than this all I can say is that I am quite satisfied with my stay especially at a better price than most others. If I had any suggestions all I could say is to maybe add a pool since it is like a family community and my room could have used a lamp. That is all. I will gladly stay here again if I ever needed to again.

I am absolutely disgusted by my experience at WoodSpring Suites. The room was clearly not sanitized dirty surfaces, stained linens, and an overall feeling of filth. The elevator was out of order, which made things even harder as I’m traveling with two small children. On top of that, the entire building reeks of smoke and other foul odors, making it feel unsafe and unhealthy to breathe, especially for young kids. This is supposed to be a non-smoking facility, yet the smell of smoke is overwhelming and nauseating. The environment is unsanitary, and the conditions are unacceptable for any guest especially families. WoodSpring Suites should be ashamed of the condition of this property and needs to take immediate accountability. After reading all these bad reviews you would think they would work on the issues.

I think this hotel is overall pretty good for the price. They offer discounts for online bookings and extended stays. I liked the fact that there was a stove top range and full size refrigerator and microwave in the room. The environment is pretty friendly where everyone seems to know everyone. I have stayed here several times and have never had a problem.

The staff are impeccable and ready to help. Rooms are clean and well kept. Dog friendly with great long term stay potential. You won't regret your stay for this price.

Kathy on the front desk is the loveliest woman, and she is the best part of this hotel. Overall, it was a good hotel for the pricing.

WORST Woodsping thus far, The 1st room I was assigned to had a disgusting odor of stagnant old air, so they gave me a different room didnt smell like the 1st room which was a plus, their AC units do let off a weird smell probably MOLD. the worst part of my stay happen everyday around 7am someone would smoke cigarettes in their restroom and the stench would travel through the vent to my room, as much as I complained to the front they’d say their was nothing they could do because people were asleep and they couldn’t knock on anyones door to find the culprit. I put up with this issue for 1 week since id paid for a weeks stay. Ill never stay here again
