Office Depot

Good customer service must be a thing of the past. I have been in the store twice in the past month. Not once have I ever been greeted and asked what assistance I might need. There was only one other customer in the store today, and again I was completely ignored while trying to figure out their fax machine. I muddled through it by myself and was shocked to see that they charge $2 per page! Not to mention that it takes an entire minute per page to actually get the fax out. After finally completing the fax, which took 20 minutes, I asked the manager how I could prove the facts actually was sent. He claims that the receipt for the money I paid is the proof. There was no confirmation page printed or anything. I rather doubt the social security administration is going to accept a money receipt as proof, but I suppose I can throw up a prayer to go with it. This just isn't a very personable store and the people in it could care less.

I went in looking for a printer. After looking for a few minutes I approached the counter and was finally greeted. When I explained what I was looking for the girl referred to the guy and he said we don't carry specialty printers that I may want to check best buy. I said I am pretty sure the ones you have are the ones I have been seeing people use for what I need. He said they don't send us specialty printers. I left went to Best Buy. The young man there didn't know a whole lot about what I needed the printer for. But he helped me look at the different computers and explained the specs to me so I cod make a decision. After getting home I looked you guys have the same printers. Great sales team you have there.

I ordered business forms that online claims to be done locally and ready for pick up within a day. This information is wrong, it is outsourced and the store doesn't even have a way to contact the outsourced company to have an updated date. The outsourced company just keeps moving the date out of when it will be ready - although it says on my order it will be ready today (nearly a week out from when it was originally to be ready). I don't know if I will ever get those forms at this point. Office Depot corporate - you need to do better at providing accurate information for consumers.

I had a fantastic experience at Office Depot today. I went in search of a chair but unfortunately, they didn’t have the color I wanted. In fact, the only chair available was in a color I disliked. Rather than simply telling me that I would have to purchase the chair in a color I disliked, Aidan, the associate, went above and beyond. He ordered the exact chair I wanted online and arranged for it to be delivered to my home by my desired date. Aidan’s willingness to go the extra mile is truly commendable. His exceptional customer service deserves recognition. I appreciated being treated like a human being rather than a transaction!

Quick personal service for my project. And the cost was unbelievable low - a really great value. Associates were very helpful. Also a convenient store location. I couldn’t be more satisfied with my experience at this store today.

I found the blue prints, notes and equipment info on a home we recently purchased. Know one thought they existed. Office Depot took on the project to copy them and save these old prints. We bought this three story home with the intent to remodel and having the files electronically will save a lot as many programs can work with these files. Great service, on time and the files will last forever and the full size copies will be of great value.

My experience at the Daphne Office Depot has always been positive. The employees are very helpful & customer oriented. I think they do a great job & have earned this rating.
