Hensley Battery & Electronics

I called this battery store because I have dealt with them in the past in colorado springs. I have always got exceptional service from the hensley battery store in colorado springs. I live in cheyenne and thought I need a new battery, so I thought I would call denver hensley, store and getty battery. And the person that was helping me was very unprofessional, uncouth, and really irritated me, by the way, she treated me like if I was a nobody. I worked as a master ase and master gold tool award through chrysler technique for chrysler. I am not happy with the way I was treated gave me a bad taste to my mouth. Hensley, batteries sells one of the best batteries, which is an east pen deka. Now i'm not sure if I ever want to deal with hensley, but I still want to buy the battery unhapp.

Great customer service. I can bring in unmarked batteries and they're able to help me find the right one in minutes.

Absolutely love using Hensley for our business battery needs. Sean at the front is the actual reason why I/We keep coming back to use Hensley. As a local business owner, he is the exact person you want representing your customer interactions.

Pretty easy place for load/unload. Quick check-in & dock assignment. Little bit of issue figuring out axle weights due to entire lot being on pretty good slope down to bldg, might be more fun on snowy day. Was there for total of 1 hour with 44 put on. Good experience.

Very helpful & friendly employees! Sean is a pleasure to do business with. I have lower spine and back muscle issues and I never have to ask for help loading heavy batteries into my truck. They have every type of battery and also take in your old ones.

Deka batteries are excellent, and Hensley has good prices. Just make sure you go in the middle of the day during the week because it's impossible to try and find business hours. There's no website, no after hours phone message, not even anything posted on the door. To me those are simple things ownership would do if they cared about customer service.

Terrible, terrible, TERRIBLE customer service! I purchased a Deka battery and it was defective and failed in May of 2012. I received a no charge warranty replacement at that time (from a different vendor) and 15 months later I have another dead battery. I was told that the defective battery would be picked up from the auto shop on Friday and it wasn't. On Monday I had to drive to I-70 and Qubec myself to drop the battery off. I spoke on the phone with Robert and explained the situation, that the battery I had was a defective battery from a replacement and the only receipt I have is for the no charge replacement. He stated the replacement battery has its own warranty and I could bring it in and they would swap it out. When I arrived, I was then told that they had to charge the battery for 20 hrs and then test it so they would call me the next day. At 3pm the next day I hadn't heard anything so I called and spoke with Tyler. The first thing he said was, "Well the battery is defective." When I asked him what the process was to receive a replacement he said that I need to bring in the original receipt, not the receipt for the replacement (which was the battery at fault) and that the warranty does not begin with the replacement but stays with the initial battery. He fought with me and basically said it was my fault that the battery is dead (though how that is possible, I have no idea). If they had asked for the receipt at the time the battery was dropped off or even properly explained it on the phone I could have saved days of aggravation and two trips worth of gas way out of my way to go to their facility. I have NEVER experienced such terrible customer service from a company. AVOID at ALL costs, and DO NOT purchase Deka batteries!
