Gravitate Coworking (Downtown)

This is the best place in town if you’re a freelancer, remote worker or small startup who doesn’t want to work from home. The space is super cool. There’s a perfect mix of open space and meeting rooms. I’m a big fan of the phone booths that cut all noise in and out. But the real strength of Gravitate is its community. Everyone there is inspiring in their own way. It’s like having friends / coworkers in a work environment without the office politics. Check it out!

Great place to work, if you are in Des Moines! I happened to come on a free co-working day, but I’d still pay for the day for great space like this! Staff were very friendly and helpful. I was even able to use a smaller room to make a video call. The larger rooms can be a bit noisy for conversation. Awesome staff, great views and street parking is nearby, but be prepared to pay for that!

Thank you, Gravitate @ Downtown Des Moines! I'm traveling today (I'm from Florida visiting Iowa) and I had a last minute meeting scheduled by my boss. I had to find a coworking space nearby ASAP. I found Gravitate in the nick of time: I arrived 6 minutes before the meeting and Kelsey gave me a nice private office right away with great Internet connection. I highly recommend them!

hosted a work event here; we loved it, plenty of space and great views. I would highly recommend doing a corporate event at this location. Close to multiple hotels which makes it nice for your guests.

We recently experienced an unexpected and extended disruption to our office space, and needed to find temporary workspace fast. The Gravitate team has been exceptional at welcoming us in and accommodating our needs, allowing our team to get up and running quickly in their space. The social spaces and conference rooms provide us with all the collaborative space we need, and we've had the opportunity to meet new people we wouldn't have met otherwise. Highly recommend!

Such an accessible and lovely space conducive to conversation, focused work, and/or creative output - they think of everything you might need and provide a variety of spaces for those needs. It's our only go-to for team meetings, and is our main go-to when we need to find a fresh space to work when our own offices aren't cutting it. And the staff - I could name my favorites, but don't want to take away from the team here - they do such a great job curating the space and giving every individual what they need. LOVE IT.
