Batteries Plus

Batteries Plus had exactly the type of button batteries I needed—without the bitter coating that can sometimes interfere with AirTags. Ordering online was simple and convenient, especially since the store was closed at the time. I was able to pick up my order the next morning as soon as they opened. The products were ready and waiting, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout. I definitely recommend Batteries Plus.

Extremely Disappointed – Warranty Not Honored I came to Batteries Plus with a dying car battery that was still under warranty, expecting a straightforward replacement. Instead, I was met with every excuse imaginable to avoid honoring it. The staff seemed more interested in shifting blame or finding loopholes than actually helping. They insisted on running a test while the battery was still in the car, questioned how the battery had been used, and dragged out the process in a way that felt intentionally difficult. It honestly seemed like they were doing everything possible not to stand by their own warranty and I wasted time driving to this place... so please don't. The representative was dismissive and unhelpful throughout. I left feeling frustrated and completely let down. The associate I was dealing with said, "You ain't getting a battery here unless this thing tells me so," pointing to a testing device, after not having properly tested the battery. "You can buy a battery, but you ain't getting one for free." A warranty should mean something — and in this case, at this Batteries+, it clearly didn’t. I won’t be returning and would caution others to think twice before relying on them for anything warranty-related. I called the corporate office and never received a call back from management or the owner of this location. Instead, I went to Batteries+ in Hillsborough, NC #562 where I received excellent customer service and a battery under warranty after proper testing.

Great experience at this store. Although they were busy handling another order, they were able to quickly replace batteries in the 5 watches I brought in. Friendly customer service and a great price.

Customer service here is really lacking and they need to be trained how to properly greet a customer. I doubt I will visit this location again. I was greeted with "you showed up at closing" when I arrived. I thought the store was open until 8pm, they closed at 7 and it was 6:45. Not the best way to be greeted. I needed batteries for a couple of timepieces. I did get those but also I needed some additional batteries for another device which I wound up going to another store to purchase. Received much better treatment there.

All 3 gentleman in the store were very kind very attentive and helpful. Also watching their interaction with another customer they genuinely care and help.

I give 1 star to this location not because they deserve it or earned it but because is the only way to post the review. This store is terrible, the Manager’s customer service and employees skills are terrible!! I do not recommend this location at all.

Keith was awesome! He helped me test and replace my near-dead OEM car battery all in under 15 minutes! Hopefully Duracell will be more reliable than the white label Interstate battery for Subaru. Extended weekend hours here and 10% pick up order special are icing on the cake. Much better price than at my car dealership.
