US Storage Centers

Liz was absolutely amazing in helping us locate and transfer to a new unit that better suited our needs. She is a very knowledgeable and dedicated representative for the US Storage organization and they are lucky to have her! Moving can be very stressful but Liz made the experience infinitely better for us. Thank you!! And I highly recommend the US Storage facility in downtown Durham for not only its clean, organized property but its really wonderful staff!!

I accompanied my pal to help move his mother-in-law's belongings into US Storage yesterday. The facility was clean, and quiet, and easily accessed via the loading area in the back. Liz, who helped us out yesterday, was a rockstar. She went far, far beyond any reasonable expectations of customer service to assist us, and saved us so much time and energy by being so helpful. As a guy who manages a team of customer success employees, I would be ecstatic if my team so consistently showed up with Liz's communication, kindness, and flexibility. She made what could have been a nightmare of a day a dream. Thank you, Liz!

We arrived to move some items into a newly rented unit, and found out that there was an issue with the loading bay door. It was being seen to, but meant that we could only access the building until the main office closed for the night. We had 30 min til close to unload a 15' truck! Oh no. That was going to be a big problem for us because we needed to get the rented truck back. But in swooped Liz (one of the staff), who was so gracious in accommodating us by staying an extra hour and 45 minutes after the scheduled closing time so that we could get everything unloaded. We are very grateful for the exceptional demonstration of customer service and that when we were in a bind, the staff (in this case Liz) were accommodating in a big, big way. Thank you so much!

I'm just renting the unit today and have been asked numerous times already to leave a review. I don't know what I can say about the experience until I've had time to rent the unit. However it was very easy to do the paperwork and rent and pay online or on the phone. This is very convenient. This isn't done with every storage facility I've dealt with so that was kool!

Mayi Johnson is the BEST property manager. Cares about her customers and is always available. She’s professional and personable, a real jewel!
