Adam's International Market

Trying out their hot foods first time. I ordered the lamb wrapped. Meat were tasty. Price range is average and reasonable. Friend got the chicken rice plate. Place has variety of international foods and ingredients. Pita breads also available here. Be nice if the place have a table to sit for their hot foods. We end up have to take the hot foods home.

A great store with a good variety of grocery items from all over the Middle East, Very clean, well organized, fresh items added frequently. The owner is a very nice and welcoming gentleman. I haven't had a chance to try their cooked food, but I can tell it's clean and freshly made daily. Some items were slightly priced over other Halal stores in Sacramento/Elk Grove area, but overall it's a good store.

The worst customer service, incompetent, and very rude staff, especially the female ones who are females, but unfortunately still make fun of other women, and being mean to them which shows the real discrimination towards same gender ‍♀️ ‍♀️. The store is not organized, and they don’t think hygiene is important that is why don’t expect any cleanliness. The store location is not convenient because the parking lot is full 24/7, so keep in mind that parking your car can take up to 15 minutes due to crowds. The prices are extremely high compare to other Mediterranean stores, also some of the items are expired, but still stocked at different shelves which is ridiculous. My experience was extremely poor because they charged me high prices for poor/low quality food, and products. I placed an order which I was at their location,and the female employee didn’t even let me talk, and interrupted me three times. I respectfully asked may talk, but unfortunately she minded it, and made me waited for a long time. After placing the order I left, and when i checked my order at home, then it looked like leftovers of others. I did call , and tried to get a hold of someone who have a little bit of humanity left in him/her, but no one answered, and no one cared. They call themselves great Muslims, but unfortunately great Muslims don’t rip of people, and don’t abuse their earnings. Shame on you Adam for hiring incompetent unresponsive workers who rip off people. I’m not giving them business again, and won’t recommend them.

I love this place and feel very lucky to have access to quality meet at a very good price. They prepared. Food is amazing.

If you have never had shawarma before (like me) and you think you have a pretty good idea of what your life experience has been like so far, then you are WRONG. I purchased my shawarma with expectations that I perceived as high. I was WRONG. I wasn’t even as hungry as I could have been! I had a light snack beforehand! Shawarma. It will change your life. And I have nothing to compare this to, so if there’s BETTER shawarma out there than at Adam’s International Market— please point me in that direction!!!! Needless to say; I very much enjoyed and highly recommend!

Whoever the chef is deserves a raise. Masha Allah some of the best Shawarma ever. Last time I had one this good was when I was in Palestine. . Thank you again. Lamb shawarma. - Ahmed

Love love love Adam's! Everything you need for Mediterranean cooking, EXCELLENT halal/kosher meat department and easy eating from the delicious fresh falafel to shawermas. Their very kind staff always welcomes with a smile and conversation to their local clientele. So much yumminess in 1 convenient stop!!!! Must must try them to see for yourself. Support your local market!!!!!!
