I’ve been in the market for a new E-bike & had been to a few shops before I ended up at Cadence. When I walked in, I met the owner, Jeff & he was so helpful. I knew what I was looking for, but most of the other shops I went to wanted to show me bikes I didn’t really want. When talking to Jeff I explained what I was looking for & he showed me a few bikes he had. I had lots of questions and he really took the time to help me understand some of the differences between bikes and brands. I’m very short, so I can’t just hop on any bike, but Jeff let me try out all the bikes I looked at. I found a bike that fit me perfectly & I was so excited! I’d recommend Cadence to anyone looking for a new bike. Jeff was super helpful & James was great too.

Hands down the best bike shop in the Elk Grove/Sacramento area. Jeff and James are stand-up guys, skilled, honest, and fast. I brought in an old Specialized bike with a box of random upgrade parts, and a few days later I was back on the road riding a bike that felt brand new. Fair prices, no BS, great service. These guys have absolutely earned my business.

I had an amazing experience here. I bought a bike through facebook marketplace and it needed some adjustments. Brought it in and got it back the same day. Quick service, owner is super nice, workers are very friendly, lots of bikes, and overall a really trustworthy place.

Customer service here is in unmatched! Jeff the owner and Josh the mechanic always take great care of my bike when I bring it in for anything. Flat tire from the goat heads - fixed. Tune up after a big weekend of riding - no problem! Friendly, helpful, great quality all around!

I was restoring this red Felt F-90, a classic beginner road bike. I had been working on this bike myself for a month, tuning it to perfection, but still needed help. The guys at Cadence Bike Shop saw my bike and were impressed with the work. They gave me an awesome history lesson. I told them my F-90 was about 90% complete and that I needed their help to get it closer to 100%, despite my inability to find a correct replacement for my front derailleur. They gave me another history lesson on Shimano derailleurs and explained that the derailleur I needed no longer exists. However, they took my bike, looked it over, tightened a few things, and, using their order manual (which looked like a dictionary!), found a replacement derailleur that might work. They just needed to track it down to order it. It took a couple of weeks, but they found this nearly impossible-to-find part for my F-90, got it, and installed it on my bike. The initial price quote was $150, but that dropped to $75, and I finally paid $63 for the almost impossible-to-get part. These guys are truly dedicated to cycling; they know their stuff and get the job done. They are awesome!

I called Cadence a couple months ago when I started researching e-bikes and had my eye on the Aventon Level 3. I specifically wanted the model with Tektro brakes, but at the time Aventon had switched to Magura. Jeff was incredibly helpful throughout the process. He answered all my calls, kept me updated with any news from Aventon reps, and helped me track the latest builds coming in. Thanks to his great customer service and communication, I was able to place my order confidently. The bike arrived at Cadence within a week, they built it quickly, and it came with the Tektro brakes just as I’d hoped. It rides great. I already have 25 miles on it and couldn’t be happier with the experience!
