The newest Safeway in Elk Grove is an addition to the community. I am here today and the store is pretty busy. This new Safeway store looks good and super clean. Many customers shop here with short lines in front of the cashier counters. Everything I want is in stock. I have my grocery shopping done in one store.

The Bruceville Safeway has recently opened its doors, bringing a fresh and convenient shopping experience to the community in Elk Grove. The layout is spacious and well-organized, making it easy to navigate through the aisles. During my visit, I was specifically searching for plantains and was pleased to find them readily available. The staff were friendly and helpful, ready to assist with any inquiries. Additionally, the store boasts an impressive selection of flowers, beautifully arranged and decorated with fall and Christmas themes, adding a festive touch to the shopping experience.

Dear Manager, I encountered an extremely rude, overtly religious employee who treated me disrespectfully—he did not even greet me. I do not understand how someone with such discourteous behavior is employed in a well‑known, busy store like yours. I request that this individual be removed from their position as soon as possible. Great store! BUT MORNING, NOON, AND NIGHT, never more than one cashier even when the line is 6 or 7 people with full carts! Why not just shop at Walmart and save more money if I'm going to deal with the same exact customer service issues?!

I have been shopping at Safeway for a while and was really happy when the Elk Grove store was opened. I shop the sales and I'm in the store almost weekly. Beautiful store and for the most part friendly employees. What I don't understand is why the wifi does not work inside the store. Employees are aware of the problem, so the manager must know. I take a few steps outside the store and I can bring up the Safeway app and load coupons. Inside the store the app just spins. It's a problem within the store and It needs to be addressed and fixed.
