Avoid Lowe’s for appliances and installation. I paid for an install kit that was never used. The crew duct-taped the old hose (a serious safety issue), and I only found out after tipping them for a job they didn’t do. The second crew refused to fix it, and my husband had to install it himself. What’s the point of paying for delivery and installation if you end up doing the work? Do yourself a favor—don’t waste your money or your trust here. Shop somewhere that values customers.

Unhelpful customer service, unavailable products, generally unproductive shopping experience. They have repeatedly shown items as in stock on their website that are not available in store. Multiple pickup orders have not shown up at the predicted time (and one never showed up at all). The staff can be very nice and sometimes helpful, but some will avoid you at all costs if you look like you have a question. The specialty desks, like plumbing, are rarely staffed. They do still have bulk hardware which is nice. If you're looking for something specific, or help finding that thing, or someone with experience to help you with a project, this is not the place to go.

Went to Lowe’s ( stopped by a competitor & the agent recommended to go to Lowe’s ) looking for an under mount sink for our kitchen renovation project & waited patiently for almost 30 minutes. We finally gave up & my wife saw her favorite Fake plants ( the orchids I have to admit in this case I agreed with because they looked beautiful & real ) so we went around to look for some on display because the self was empty for what she wanted . Customer service in plumbing is not satisfactory. Hope they can improve on that soon.

My husband and I came here to buy a grill of some sort. We had a price range and wanted something that did gas and charcoal. We found one but they were all out. They only had the display model left. I asked if we could buy it. They almost didn't let us because they said they may lose money on someone who could have been a customer. I said hey, we are customers. We have cash right now. They eventually did let me buy it thank the good Lord! It was already the 4th and we didn't do everything to prepare on time. That was our fault and they accommodated us! Thank you for handling your difficult customers with care!

Generally I don’t do big box store reviews but I gotta give a shout out to Eric over in lumber. He helped me cut some sheets of OSB to size so I could board up the windows of my shop that somebody had broken. He was super friendly and even gave me a little toy kit for my kid to put together. It’s good to see customer service and a friendly attitude alive and well. Thanks again Eric!

When I needed to get a new doorknob for my house, I got two defective doorknobs that I had to return back to back. Another time, they sent delivery drivers who failed to knock on the door or ring the bell, then posted a "we missed you" memo. The next day, they nearly delivered the product to the wrong house. I had to stand outside in anticipation of the delivery truck, and correct the drivers when they pulled up to my neighbor's place. They earned a second star, because they have low prices, and a generous return policy.

I don't know what others think about Lowe's, but from my point of view, it has all the essential things to keep your place in a piece, and I like how easy the website guides you to find the parts you need. Staff are friendly, and the shopping experience here is better than the next door HD.
