I have been coming to this shop ever since I moved back to town and have had only favorable experiences with them. Super knowledgeable staff that has always done a great job keeping me informed every step of the way. I completely trust them with my bike repairs.

I recently moved to Fort Collins and was interested in a bike to ride around town. Eric was incredibly kind and helped me make an educated purchase when I haven’t owned a bike since I was a kid. He fitted the bike I was interested in and let me test it in the parking lot, then helped me find the perfect helmet. Highly recommend stopping in here for any and all bike needs and I will definitely be back in the future!

The guys at Drake were super helpful troubleshooting my bike hub issue and set me up with a nicer and more reliable upgrade; now the bike rides better than when new. Quality work and friendly staff.!

My wife purchased a bike from another vendor in town. Within days she had parts loosening and falling off. The back wheel completely fell apart. The busines we purchased the bike from won't fix or replace anything on that bike for her. They wanted over $200 for any repairs. Discovered Drake Cycles and our problem was solved and at way less of a cost. Thank you guys for the quick excellent service.

I was in town for work, and I had an opportunity to ride, so I rented a mnt bike from Drakes and had an awesome experience. Not like the hills of East Tennessee, but definitely just as beautiful. Nice shop and some really nice employees. I highly recommend them.

On the afternoon of August 11th, we contacted Drake Cycles to reserve two e-bikes for the following day. Upon entering the establishment the next morning, a staff member welcomed us and indicated they were currently assisting another customer but would be available shortly. After a brief wait, we informed the staff member about our prior reservation for two e-bikes. He confirmed that the e-bikes had been prepared and were ready for use. He inquired about our need for helmets or locks, then proceeded to demonstrate the e-bikes and adjusted the seats to a comfortable position. Although we received a brief tutorial, we encountered some difficulties. My husband's e-bike malfunctioned during the initial portion of our ride, which was approximately four miles, although it was primarily downhill, so not a major concern. My e-bike functioned correctly during the first segment, but ceased to operate thereafter, which was just under nine miles, and that portion of the ride was not all downhill. I thought I was just being a wimp until my husband said he couldn't hear my bike, even though my battery was turned on, and the indicator showed I was in "normal" mode. When we returned to the store, we told him we enjoyed the ride but experienced some issues with the e-bikes. He said they sometimes turn off with bumps and suggested turning them off and on. He offered to adjust the price because of the issues. We said we still had fun, but it was a more intense workout than expected, and we wanted to rent them again that Saturday, knowing what to watch out for. He agreed to work out a deal and booked us to rent the e-bikes on 8/16. Arrived at the store on Saturday morning, and the service was noticeably lacking. There were three employees present: one in the back, and two assisting customers. Despite this, we weren't greeted at all. I approached the counter, and one of the young men came over and sat at the cash register, just a few feet away, while he waited for his customer. We were ignored for about five minutes, which felt very strange. He just sat there, staring ahead, until his customer returned. Only then were we acknowledged. They checked our e-bike rental, confirmed our reservation, and I noticed that "my" e-bike only had four battery bars lit up. I questioned if it was fully charged, and was told the indicators aren't reliable. I responded that if the battery can show five bars, I expect it to be charged to that level. I explained that if I take the bike with a full charge and return it empty, that's my responsibility. However, if I leave with a lower charge and run out of power, we will have a different conversation when I return. Asked if the e-bikes had been charged, and was told no. Another young man then offered to switch my battery for a fully charged one. I thanked him, and he took care of it. However, no one asked about helmets or locks, checked seat heights, or discussed cost adjustments. We had a wonderful time, went out to Watson Lake and it was just a beautiful ride. Rode back to the store, and perhaps everyone had finished their morning coffee. We were greeted and asked about our ride. The customer service on Tuesday was vastly different from Saturday. The service we received upon arrival on Saturday morning was unacceptable, but they improved it when we returned the e-bikes. Next time we're in town, we'll rent e-bikes from Drake Cycles, but I think we'll stick to weekdays only.

I was in town for a quick mtn bike trip and slashed a tire. Drake Cycles mounted a new tire within a couple hours so i could get back to my rides. National retailer close by quoted 14 days!! Super Friendly, Quick but Great Quality work, and Extremely Reasonable Pricing. This is why we should use Local Bike Shops!!! Drake earned my loyalty when i am in FoCo. Thanks to the crew there!!!
