Surprisingly the quality of some tools have risen to a nice level. Also, tarps, moving blankets and other things are crazy inexpensive. Be careful look at the quality but there are plenty of great deals to be had here. This is not your father's harbor freight.
These people do not do business in reality. In this day and age most retail chains will ask you for your phone number. This is the only store on Earth including other harbor freights, were the employees take it as a personal insult akin to slapping them in the face, if you say, "No, I do not want to give you my phone number today." The cashier got so upset that she started yelling at me in front of customers, and walked away from the register. And then the manager, walked over to me and explains to me that it is "their right" to have my number. And me telling them no is some sort of social crime. As though just because someone has decided to write it as policy, makes it reasonable to absolutely demand personal information. Yeah everyone asks. And when you say no everyone else just continues with the transaction. These people act like you've assaulted them or insulted their family. I have no idea why the people at the store are so absolutely bananas crazy, but this is the third time I've had a reaction like this for something that is completely reasonable. They don't honor prices on their shelves and they yell at you when you call them out. They take it as an insult when you say you don't want to give them your phone number. They do absolutely everything that they can not to accept a return even when you have a receipt. Because somehow the receipt could still be fraud which is another thing they said right to my face. I can only surmise that this store is being run by people who genuinely hate other people. I would caution against shopping here unless it's the only option. Also I have actually read the return policy. It does not require a phone number. These people lie.
Tool quality is getting better. I love shopping here. Jenn is probably my favorite cashier because shes fun and quick. I go in quite often
I was referred as a "Peasant" while checking out by the cashier, because im not currently a ITC member. Both cashiers just found that to be hilarious. Although I have been a member for many years, I have not been able to pay extra for the membership... I do not appreciate being called anything other than my name. I wasn't giving the opportunity to present my coupons i did have until it was already totaled and asking for payment. There use to be nice people that worked at this location but im just treated like a peasant.
Friendly staff and prices below what Lowe's, Home Depot, and Ace charge. Just wish there was a store closer. It is a 40 mile round trip ++, for me, from Fruita to Clifton and back.
This is truly a bad place to spend money on equipment. I bought a pressure washer for my business it hasn’t worked for more than 20 minutes ever. The engine overheats. The customer service here is horrible, they don’t care at all. I don’t normally leave bad reviews, but this business needs to be exposed. If you want to waste a bunch of money then support this horrible business!
Harbor Freight has definitely stepped up there game. The Icon line of tools are first class. They're going to put a serious hurt on the tool trucks! The store has so many tools and supplies for welding, woodworking, off-road, painting, you name it.
