Miss one payment. They will disconnect your services. 80 dollar fee to "reconnect". They press one button and it's instantaneous. Also they charge a 200 "retainer" for this as well. If you miss a payment for the next 12 months, they take it from this. OR you can "pre pay for services." My 120 dollar bill for missing a payment became 400 dollars. Reported to the Colorado Public Utility Commission. Scummy company.

They say stuff like "disconnection as a LAST RESORT" but they lie, $160 dollar bill turned into $700+ because of their own clerical error... terrible customer service just trying to pin blame on their customers and obviously just cant take blame for their own mistakes. Terrible, greedy business. Principals and morals dont exist with these employees. Xcel was MUCH more pleasant to deal with

Holly is amazing. Worked with her across multiple days and multiple phone calls to solve an extremely complicated issue. Nothing but kind, polite, helpful and concise. The world would function so much better if every company's customer service department had a Holly behind the phone. 10/10 Service.

Never thought I would be leaving a review for an electric company but here we are. Why PVREA do you keep messing up my account. They just keep deleting my account. Can't tell me why. I have to keep calling them asking where is my bill? Why can't the app find me? Then it finally get fixed and I get hit with a bill for 3 months. Edit, they went out of their way to help me get a refund from my property management due to the fees from above error. So good on them for that.

We have been with this company for 11 years and NOT BY CHOICE. Xcel would have been my preference. Poudre REA is super expensive and not flexible with customers. We were 3 days, literally 3 days late and got our electric shut off. This is utterly Ludacris. We need to investigate this utility company, I have a few calls into the Colorado Public Comission.

We had a leg our our power go down yesterday and did not know until we got home at 9pm. They were quick to come out after my call. Unfortunately I did not catch the workers name but he was nice and polite and worked out there in it for a couple hours through the night to get it back up and running. So thankful for him and his hard work and professional attitude.

De-regulate CO electricity!!! This regulated-monopoly is total BS!!!! They will disconnect your power after 2 late bills (that ya didnt notice cause its been on autopay for the last 4yrs, never a late payment, and their phone number when calling is labelled as spam) and want to charge you a $500 reconnect fee!!! Put your bill on auto-pay they say, its easier & more convinent. Yea right up until your account gets hacked and you need to reset 20 different auto-pay's. If ya miss one that results in missed payments, guess what they charge ya a ridiculously large "reconnect fee" which amounts to a button push on their end. All this hassle over a $200 bill FFS!! Solar and a battery bank are looking a whole lot more appealing!!! At least we were at the house when it happened instead of coming home from out of town to find 3 fridges full of thousands of dollars in rotten food!!
