Storage Star

Beware - DO NOT RENT IN PERSON or you will pay 3 times the rental fee compared to the online prices. What a huge rip off! I initially rented online and then decided to get a larger unit and asked the staff at the desk about the options. They offered to change the unit for me right then, but they failed to tell me that it was going to cost almost 3 times more than it would if I had switched the units online instead. Three times more just because I did this in person is crazy and it it feels like just plain money grubbing greed! A company with good customer service would have told me that I could get a better deal if I went online!

Thomas has always been very helpful and made sure all my questions were answered. Great customer service and just a nice guy. Highly recommended!!! I'm a little disappointed with the new way to get into the facility though. Having to use a door instead of the automaticdouble doors makes getting in harder. Difficult to get into that door. You have to push it in first, then try to open the door. Also you have to lift your cart over a bump which has made itmes in my cart fall off. So other the new way of getting in, the facility has been great!

I’ve been a customer since 2019. I feel Storage Star with their customer service and great security have been caring and securing my personal property with great attentiveness. Their caring staff are easy to work with on any issues that may occur and their hands-on approach keeps my pricing competitive. I could recommend Storage Star to anyone and I’m going to be a loyal customer for years to come. Walt

The AC works great! I love how cold they keep it inside. Be sure to fill out a form to vacate 7 days prior!! I had a complete panic moment when I realized I was charged for my storage unit after I had already moved everything out. Initially when I moved in, I don't remember being told to fill out a form to vacate. Apparently it's in the lease agreement. I called Storage Star feeling pretty stressed, and I was lucky enough to get Jarod on the phone. He was so kind and patient while I explained what happened. Instead of just pointing to the policy, he was genuinely helpful and reassured me he could sort it out. He was able to reverse the charge and was just wonderful throughout the entire process. What could have been a frustrating and costly mistake was resolved in minutes. Jarod's fantastic customer service turned a stressful situation into a great experience. Thank you so much!

Jarod was extremely helpful for my friend and I when we were hustling to find a storage space. The amount of information he knew and the safety with felt with him and the knowledge he shared was very comforting. Knowing we have him on our side for this journey makes this transition even smoother. I hope everyone gets to experience his expertise. Oh yeah...and the units are nice and well kept 🙂

We rented two large storage units at Storage Star, and we had no problems (except for moving in/out before staff was there- those doors automatically shut and we had to have one of us keep them open until 9:00). We felt that the units were secure and clean. We liked the temperature control too!

The staff are Storage Star were extremely helpful and easy to work with. Hunter was great to work with specifically on the move in/out process. The units are clean and pricing was as described. I highly recommend this facility for storage units especially for students.
