Being understaffed on a Saturday is inexcusable. I went in to buy a few things. First the carpet cleaning solution was down to 1 bottle of the stuff that wasn’t $35/gal but of course it was leaking. The ones behind it were stocked wrong and I had to be on my knees on the floor digging though thing because no one was around to help me. Decided to get a different brand and picked up some clearance items along the way. Headed to hardware to go buy a Ryobi saw. Except they are all locked up. Think anyone was working in hardware cage? Nope! Finally tracked someone down and they said they’d take it to the register. Except when I went to the registers, there was ONE HUMAN cashier with a line down into the lumber isles. Well, guess I don’t need the saw that bad, I’ll go pay for my carpet cleaner at self checkout and be out of there. Nope. Line down the tiny crowded aisle for only 4 self check outs. Guess what Home Depot, your attempt to save some labor and make your customers wait on line… ha! Not for me. That saw is still waiting for me at the register and there’s a bottle of carpet cleaner sitting on the coke machine by self checkout. You lost a few hundred bucks of a sale just from me and I won’t be back to this location.
Robin was the most excellent employee on our visit to find parts for our air compressor. She was so patient and helpful in helping us find all of the parts that fit together. She's also highly skilled in locating parts on the computer and then in the store. We are so happy she was able to help us so thoroughly. It made our Sunday. She deserves a raise. She could also train other associates on what constitutes excellent customer service. Thank you@
They closed the bay doors while I was loading the wood. It’s a lot of weight, including 10 foot lengths. Its raining. I asked two cashiers very nicely if they would come ring me up down at the pro desk and open up the gate so I could just walk right out to the truck they said sorry it’s closed for the night. I went over to customer service and asked them the same thing. I can’t believe I loaded all this wood And Home Depot is gonna pay money to have their employees restock all this wood, simply because nobody wants to open up the gate that they closed while I was loading. I’m not bringing 10 foot lengths past all their crappy patio furniture, and Red Bull displays to get through the self check out. These are 10 foot lengths. All three employees understood the challenge and just didn’t care. This isn’t a big ask. Have fun restocking it, you guys can pound sand.
Moved into a new home and had to wait a month for appliances to be delivered and installed. FIVE DAYS after their "30 Day guarantee" on installation we discovered a leak that's been going on for God knows how long, from the water line in the back of the dryer. Called Home Depot and all they could say was it was past the 30 day mark and I should have been watching to make sure everything was good. How was I supposed to see a leak in the back of a dryer in a place ONLY the washer and dryer fit?! Was I supposed to pull it out and inspect them after each wash and dry?!?! For a major company like this, I expected far better customer service and guarantees. I've spent a TON of money there. What a disappointment.
I don’t understand some of the negative reviews for this Home Depot. I’ve been helped or have had an employee check in with me every time that I’ve been to this store. Everything that I’ve needed has been in stock and easy to locate. I lived closer to the north Fort Collins store which is always busier than this location in my opinion. Since I’ve had good experiences with this Home Depot I’ll continue to go back.
I needed a couple of refrigerator boxes for my grandson’s school project. I stopped Gabe in the parking lot and he walked me to the far back corner to see if they had any and then helped get them out of the store and fit them-which wasn’t easy- into my car. What great customer service!!! Thank you, Gabe!!
Honestly had terrible customer service. This was my first time visiting and I was completely ignored by three different employees in uniform at their respective work station (I say station because this all occurred at the same counter) while standing in line. If they were busy or asked me to wait I would understand but a different customer walked up from over twenty feet away and was immediately addressed with a "Hi, how may we help" even though I was the only customer in line before him, was there first, clearly in line and needed help with a single item. I would not recommend this store based off of that experience alone and will be taking my business to Lowe's for the foreseeable future.
