The sales associate just look at me like if I just drop out of a UFO I give him the good morning and he didn't have even the courtesy to say good morning back. He asked me Plain and dry what do I want I told him what battery I was looking for and that I was looking for a use one and he just reply cut and dry we don't sell use batteries. Did not offer any alternative on what they sell or point to someone that does. It looks that they are afraid of the competition. Give them 2 stars for the benefit of the doubt. They might sell a good new product.

The service technician, Franz, got our forklift charger working once again! He knew exactly what needed to be done to quickly get it working with 240v 3 phase and he made the adjustment needed to make sure it was properly charging our forklift batteries with the correct amount of amps.

Extremely bad customer service. The customer service person I had to deal with offered zero satisfaction for a failed battery unit that was manufactured only 13 months prior to failure. I had purchased this unit 7 months ago. From a customer perspective 7 months is pitiful performance. After performing a basic voltage test as a failure analysis this person subjectively determined that the battery was abused therefore could offer no warrantee whatsoever. No load testing was done, the voltage of the individual cells was not checked. No chemical analysis of the electrolyte was performed. Not even a density test. Being an engineer myself I had done some of this testing prior to my visit. I always make sure something is indeed bad before I replace it. I had explained that when compared to an older competitive battery that received the exact same service and routine maintenance the Deka battery failed but not the competitor. The unit are side by side in the same vessel. I do understand protecting your companies interest but not to the point of lying to your customer. Beware some of the tactics used were to point out that there was dirt on the caps and the electrolyte levels were too high in some cells and too low in others when there was only 1/8 inch difference either way. if the battery chemistry is that sensitive you would need to check it every other day. Deka needs to redesign there product to be more tolerant of real world environments. I was offered a battery at cost but a cost that included quite a bit of margin. I may have considered half the price point offered but I chose to leave in disgust and write this review instead so others can be warned of this customer abuse.

Always excellent service, polite expert staff top notch batteries. We buy a lot of marine batteries from these guys, about a dozen a month. I am With Advanced Outboard Marine.

Great service,knowledgeable staff,great price.and got the batteries i needed. Jeff attentended me with no bs! Definitely recommend to others looking for batteries!lee
