DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. If I could give negative stars I would. It started off great telling me all the things I wanted to hear but it’s all a lie! They tell you your stuff will be held on a truck until time for delivery. Not true. All your belongings get off loaded into a warehouse and mixed in with other people’s things. I was told 3-5 days til delivery. Not true. It says 1-11 days for my specific move (depends on distance). It took 15 days and only because I called A lot! No one called me or returned my calls. When I asked about it being late I was told they technically they have 21 days (read the really fine print. They hide it well!) On pick up they give you a 2 day window well I got a call at 2pm on day 2 asking if they can push me back another day. I could not since I was closing on my home that day and needed to be out. They showed up at 4pm and didn’t leave until 10pm. I watched them throw my belongs in the truck after they realized they needed more space to fit my thing. They rolled my headboard down the stairs and broke part of it. Once they got to my location they had an issue finding help so they were asking people in a Walmart parking lot if they could help move my things. Complete strangers with no background check. Something I’m not comfortable with having them come into my home and move my things not knowing if they have a criminal record or even a sex offender. Who would know! Once they arrive at 5pm they started off loading and they had put blue stickers all over my expensive furniture. So many items are broken. The list goes on and on! I’m warning anyone who reads this to please find another company! Oh and the best part I was charged $18,000 when it was originally going to be $11,000 at the beginning all to have my stuff destroyed! Including an additional charge of $2000 for more hidden fees!

On top of that, they were friendly, respectful, and had great teamwork. I couldn’t have asked for a better moving crew—highly recommend them!

From the first contact with Paul Edwards, I felt confident we were in good hands. He was clear, helpful, and informative. My sisters and I were organizing the move for our 90-year-old mother, who didn't have to worry about a thing! Richard followed up with excellent communication and helped iron out all the details. His attention to detail and patience made the entire planning process smooth and stress-free. When moving day arrived, Terran, Robert, and George were everything you hoped for in a moving crew—friendly, efficient, respectful, and extremely careful with all her belongings. They wrapped everything well, worked quickly without cutting corners, and were courteous every step of the way. The entire team communicated clearly, respected her home and possessions, and truly made what could have been a stressful day feel easy and well-managed. WARNING: DO NOT TRUST DIRECT RELOCATION SERVICES — SCAMMERS, LIARS, AND POSSIBLE THIEVES Our cross-country move from Florida to West Virginia was not just stressful — it was traumatizing, thanks to the blatant dishonesty, negligence, and possible theft committed by Direct Relocation Services. The company — particularly Diego (the owner), Joy, and Robert — completely misrepresented who they were and how they operate. Their initial friendliness was all an act to secure our deposit. Once they had our money, everything fell apart. I explained to Diego that we were leaving our entire lives behind — our jobs, our community of 7 years — to help care for my elderly, ailing grandmother. I made it crystal clear that we were on a tight schedule, with very limited income, and could not afford hidden fees, missed deadlines, or surprises. Diego pretended to understand and assured us they were an honest company, not brokers, and that their own trucks and employees would handle the entire move. He flat-out lied. I asked directly if our move would be brokered or transferred between trucks. Diego said "absolutely not." That was also a lie. As soon as we paid the deposit, their behavior changed completely. Joy, who was previously responsive, became nonexistent. Repeated calls and voicemails were ignored. It took multiple attempts just to get her to confirm a pickup date — and even then, we were told only a vague "two-day window" (May 31 or June 1). I explained multiple times that our lease was up May 31, and we had to be out by then, especially since we were about to drive 17 hours with four animals. Joy, incredibly, tried to gaslight me — claiming I had never made that clear. That’s a bold-faced lie. I told every person at that company the same thing. When I pushed back, she blamed me for their scheduling failure. They eventually told us the movers would come on June 1, with no time given. That alone is awful business — anyone who’s moved knows timing is everything, especially for a long-distance relocation. After another round of harassment on my part, I finally got a call from dispatch — the morning of June 1 — saying they’d arrive between 2–4 PM. Guess what? They didn’t show up at all during that window. At 3:50 PM, the movers called — not to apologize, but to inform us that they were still 35 minutes away in Bradenton — still loading another job. We were forced to delay our trip and leave much later than expected, exhausted, frustrated, and completely unsupported by the people who were supposed to be helping us during a major life transition. When the movers finally arrived — at 6:30 PM, two and a half hours late — they showed up unprepared and disorganized. No protective wrapping for our fragile items. No moving blankets of their own. They used our own discarded blankets and random cardboard to "protect" our furniture, mirrors, and TVs. And then came the worst part: THEFT. My partner asked for a specific box back — it had expensive personal items inside (nearly $3,000 worth). The mover said it was "too far back" and assured us it would be safe. That was the only box we specifically mentioned. Guess what? That’s the one box that is now missing. Also gone? Our entire surround sound system — also not listed on the final inventory sheet. How convenient. They also damaged multiple TVs and mirrors. And when we tried to hold them accountable, they hid behind their pathetic insurance policy of $0.60 per pound — which means they owe us pocket change for thousands of dollars in stolen or broken items. When I asked for the names of the employees who were in possession of our belongings, Diego refused. He claimed "they’d never do something like that." Yet he wouldn’t explain the chain of custody, wouldn’t disclose where the truck had gone, and couldn’t prove the move stayed on one vehicle — despite promising it would be a "direct move." There is nothing direct, honest, or professional about this company.
Just had Jackson and his crew load up my storage unit this morning. Not only professional the entire time, very friendly. They took great care with all my items and made sure they were wrapped, packed, and taped even better than I already had them. They got after the job and had it done very quickly and safely. Best experience I’ve ever had. Thank you to him and his crew! Would highly recommend them to everyone!
