Florida Power & Light Company

FPL is a pretty decent power company, they are very helpful when impending storms are coming. I get texts keeping me updated regularly. My only concern is the cost of electric on top of transmission costs. I wish they could make it more affordable for people on fixed incomes.

I wish I could leave negative stars because power service is in a deep s###hole here. Power is off every time we have some rain. I had this experience only when I have been living in India and they fixed it much faster, though. I moved to the US from Eastern Europe and we didn't have such failed service even under Soviets. And, you know, we paid like 5 bucks for it. Shame on you, FPL

This review is for the F.P.L. power grid.. Your prices are amazing and the service the best in the country.. I have been here since 1984 and lived in Palm Bay Fla for 12 years.. You are totally blessed to have this group on your side.. When i see a FPL truck i smile..i sometimes yell thanks.. The best of the best.. Best electrical prices in the country.. If i hear a New Yorker say well..... I may do jail.. To the powers that be.. Thank you thank you thank you... I have not affiliated and this is an unbiased critique..

57 hours without power and counting. 15 calls to the FPL phone number during this time and not real actions to reconnect the service, always the same answer a crew will re-tap your service soon! Literally same experience than in Cuba and Venezuela!!! The worst service ever! Terrible FPL. God please help us during hurricane season because if is for this people.

Billed me 2x in February 2022. I paid the first bill and received email confirmation of payment. Received the original bill a second time, I paid this second billing since I figured it would just be applied to my next bill when they determined I had a $0 balance. Instead my second payment(check) was sent back via mail. Just received my next bill and it has added my last month's due amount + a late payment fee to the total bill amount for this month. FPL does not allow you to speak to a live agent and the Voice Response System and Chat Line (Julia) says my last bill and payment was December 2021. So frustrated !?!?!?!?!

Worst service ever. I would give you a -10⭐. It's me fpl 1 ot the 16 people in hwd that looses power every month.we have been here since 1972 an you can't get it right. Tired of you puting a bandaid on it. An now after 50+ yrs you say we died...

Awful service. Came into my garden to clear the lines but instead of servicing the trees, butchered whole palm trees and plants, displaced wildlife and nests, left a mess everywhere the trucks came down, and Didn't pick up brush. Why not burry the lines like you said you would 10 years ago. Barbarians.
