PowerTex Batteries

I purchased the group 48/H6 battery for my 2007 Yukon even though it wasn't listed under the application search. The battery fits perfect. So it should fit into any 2007 to 2014 GMC/CHEVY truck or SUV. The battery I removed was 43 pounds and the Power Tex was a scant 13 pounds!!

I specifically chose to purchase a PowerTex battery because i've heard a lot of great things about the people there and how they treat their customers. One of my personal directives for my project car build has been to only work with "good" companies. And so i did, even though shipping the battery cost as much the battery itself because of my location. Turns out i did get to experience their customer support first hand as i ended up dealing with an issue, through no fault of their own, but because of my own actions. Their support has been excellent, and their patience while dealing with someone clearly out of his depths was nothing short of admirable. Oh and to state the obvious, saving 45lbs of weight with ZERO downsides is a cheat code. Could not recommend them more

Powertex customer support and product knowledge is excellent! I was in need of a compact battery (due to space constraints) with optimal CCA’s and they had exactly what I needed!!!

So it took about a week to arrive. I was pleasantly surprised with the light weight of this battery. I knew it was lighter than the OE battery but i didn’t know how much . My OE battery only lasted 2 years and I’m sure it’s because of the trucks loaded electronics. I’m very hopeful for this battery to last longer and I’m looking forward to the new app that is come out that will monitor the battery .
