Awful experience. We received a competitive quote to install a ceiling fixture on a 18.5 foot ceiling from Volt, had installation of a chandelier set for 8am on an 18.5 foot ceiling. I prepped the living room (moved furniture), Carlos came to the arrived promptly at 8 and we discussed the fixture, from what Carlos was saying I was concerned that the cost was flying to balloon (even though they knew what they were installing the fixture on). It became 9:30 and the other technician had still not shown up, I told Carlos my concern about the cost and the other technician Daniel called and assured me there would be no change in price. While we waited Carlos fussed amount with the fixture and tested it to ensure all lights functioned. They did. I waited until 11:30 all while Carlos said my new fixture was "cheap" and that the lighting (to include can lights) were "cheap" in my new build. I stayed cordial and positive. After 3.5 hours Daniel arrived and looked at the ceiling. He set up a 10" ladder and surmised that it would not be high enough. He told me that they will reschedule and have scaffolding. We discussed a date and time and they left. They arrived a few days later with a scaffold, Daniel and 2 other technicians. After a few hours I was called over to take a look at the result. The fixture did not sit flush to the ceiling. To save them the hassle of taking the fixture down I offered a few possible solutions to fix the problem. I was again told my fixture was cheap and could not be hung properly. During this conversation they tested the fixture and one pendant light did not work. I discussed options but it was clear that the chandelier would need to come down. At that point calls were made and I was approached saying that they had finished and wanted to collect payment. I refused and said the job was not complete. I explained to Daniel that the chandelier appeared as thought it was going to fall off the ceiling, one pendant was not working and a protective peel was left on one of the sides. After asking them as professional installers were they satisfied with the result u was told they will come back and finish the job. I stated that I was only going to pay half as the job was not completed to my satisfaction. He then said they will come back and fix the install, also that they will fix the broken pendant but there will be a charge. I told Daniel that he assured me that the quote will stay the same and that Carlos had texted the light the week prior confirming that the texture was working. I spoke to the office again stating that there was no extra charge. I called 2 times that day about rescheduling. Finally after my wife called we were able to get on the books. I received a call a day later from Volts stating that they were ordering parts to ensure that the fixture would be correctly installed and I would receive a call once they were in so I could be rescheduled. That was about 2 weeks ago. I feel Volt Electric will not call and I have no intention to use their services again.

Henry and Carlos were punctual, courteous and professional. They left no detail out and communicated with us during each phase of the installation process. They were neat and cleaned up after themselves. They also respected our property, both inside and out. The management was very communicative and courteous making sure we were not alone in our work installation. I surely will be recommending Volts Electric to anyone in need of electrical work. So far so good I just needed a quote. Their rep was very thorough and listened to what I wanted done and even had some great suggestions. The techs arrived to do job on time, and to their credit they hung in there for almost 10 hours to finish the job. The materials were delivered by a driver. Materials where short, luckily we did not do part of the original plan. There were some issues but when all said and done the job got done and it looks beautiful.

I called Volts Electric when power went out in my home around Christmas 2024. An electrician came and diagnosed that the breaker in the box that feeds the 20 and 15 amp was bad and that the whole electrical panel outside the house would eventually need replacement. The only breaker he could locate was in the Bradenton area, and being a holiday weekend, wouldn't have till Thursday. We were charged $500 diagnostic and $1100 deposit for a completely new electrical panel. Volt Electric came in few days later to put in the new breaker. We were charged for the new breaker $700 incl install. We found a day later that the problem was not with the breaker but the line that came to the house from the pole outside. We called Volts Electric back and told them it was not the breaker. We asked them to remove the new breaker and put the old back in and refund our money for a new panel that they wanted us to replace. The problem was that the wire from the pole to the home (which FPL fixed promptly) was loose and intermittent. Volts Electric came out and took out the breaker and said when they return it and get a refund they would refund us the $ 1100 for the panel deposit and the $ 700 for the breaker install. We have called several times and got different stories each time. They even went as far as to tell me the check was in the mail; but guess what, NO CHECK. Every time we call them they say they will get back to us but they never have. A couple of times they said they mailed a check and NOTHING. The issue was around Christmas 2024. Its 5 months and the lies continue. A company so dishonest should not even be in business. 6/9/2025: UPDATE The above review was posted a month ago. A few days after this was posted, the company called us and said that they have mailed the check to us. Guess what! NOTHIng has been mailed!! The games played by this company is undescribable. Would say again, a dishonest company like this should not be in business.
