Williams Hardware, Inc.

This is the only real hardware store in Lee county. I’ve been coming randomly, and I’m sure I just blend into the crowd. I do a lot of DIY car repairs, and build ikea furniture for my wife. Well, they always have a random obscure bolt I need, or help me find an alternative. It’s so nerve racking car manufactures discontinue hardware for their vehicles, and don’t even have any reference parts. So I come here to find say a comparable bolt for a mustang alternator, or an engine mount bolt for my ranger because not even the ford dealer knows how to help me. I no longer live in east fort Myers, and it’s quite the drive for me. But if I want to go to one store, and be done with my project I come to Williams.

Best costumer service experience you'll ever find at a hardware store. Help is always available and everybody knows what you need and where it is. They have almost anything you can find at homedepot or lowes at cheaper prices and they'll help you find it fast.

Great small family run business.

I grew up here and Williams and Charlie have been here since I can remember. But they seem to have new hours and close at 3 on Saturday. I don’t understand it, but it’s not my company. But since I’ve been sitting here for 5 minutes I can tell you they are losing a lot of money. A least a dozen cars have pulled in over 5 minutes

They have been in business for over 40 years (more or less) in the same location for a reason. Great people and great service. It's refreshing to walk into a business and be treated like a valued customer. I thought I was given a special treatment because my affiliation with a property management company but a few minutes in the store and you see that everyone is treated in a special way.
