Kroger

6.0

Kroger in Fort Wayne offers a familiar grocery shopping experience. The store provides a range of standard provisions, and the layout is designed for ease of navigation. Expect to find fresh produce and a selection of meat options. The overall presentation strives for a consistent and readily accessible shopping environment.

While convenient, maintaining a consistently high standard of cleanliness appears to be an ongoing challenge. The store's size can lead to periods of significant traffic, and the availability of organic selections and frequently updated promotional offers may be limited. Parking availability can also be a factor.

Everyone is a food health and safety critic when it comes to reviews, but when it comes down to it this Kroger is just like every other Kroger I've been to. Similar layout with everything you need and items are easy to find as well! I went for chicken, found chicken, checked out and on my way I went. Plenty of fresh selection in the produce and meat departments! Store was pretty clean as well! The parking lot leaves a lot to be desired, but I don't mind walking. 5 !

UPDATE: this store really needs some cleaners…the bathroom is the worst one I can remember. I am in shock at the filth. There is no way I could take a child that has to touch anything to use this restroom. The meat department is disgusting and stinks like rotting meat. The fresh fruits and vegetables the same, it’s flip a coin if they will be rotten and covered in fruit flies or not. Hey, but the cop is not binge watching videos on his phone he is really keeping an eye on people to make sure we’re safe so happy to pay higher prices to pay for that

This Kroger is always super busy and crowded. It can be very difficult to find a parking spot. If you have kids keep them close in the parking lot because people come flying through, probably because they are mad that there is no parking. The produce is pretty decent. They have a very small organic section and very small meat selection. Dont waste your time if your going for that. There are hardly any sales there and when you go you generally have to wait in a long line. UPDATE : I have to go from 2 stars to one... found barely any produce and Open sausage package.. wrongfully priced specials.. this place is just getting worse!

Excellent experience every time I go to my go-to store, though it is smaller than one a few miles away. I primarily use the pickup service, and it has been a game changer--always correct, and my time in and out is never more than a few minutes. Inside the store the aisles are broken up on the edges, with plenty of space to get around. Usually a few cashiers on duty, and if the wait gets long a manager drops in to alleviate. The parking lot can get a little hairy right in front of the doors, but not too bad beyond that. Of course, doing the pickup service makes that a moot point.
