Meijer

I go to this story every week. They have a nice bakery with fresh donuts and a wide variety of other baked goods, including fresh bread, muffins, cookies, brownies and cake. One of my favorite things about Meijer is that it has items you can't find at other stores. The produce section, especially the vegetables, is bigger and better than other chain stores. The fruit is OK. I'll buy fruits there with the exception of apples. Those I go elsewhere for because the quality of apples at this particular location isn't up to my standards. The clothing and shoe section may be smaller than Walmart, but the quality is far better and you can get good, brand name shoes. I like the cosmetics and skincare section here far, far better than Walmart! Now, the prices are a tad higher than Walmart on most things, but the quality and selection more than make up for it! Especially when you utilize the mperks! Plus, they have good sales every week. I'm very loyal to Meijer for the prices, selection, mperks, sales and atmosphere. I can't recommend this store enough!

Absolutely awful. Had an asset protection or door greeter employee hurl insults at me and raise his voice at me on my way IN the store. I had not been there more than 30 seconds nor said a single word. Yet this employee took it upon himself to disrespect me and hurl insults at me as I tried to politely walk away. Calling me various names with my back turned. I always carry myself with a level of respect and kindness towards whomever I meet, and did absolutely nothing to warrant this type of aggression. I never even said a word to this man, yet he singled me out. This type of behavior is unbecoming of any business much less one with such status. Unwarranted aggression towards people that want nothing more than to shop in peace is what you should expect when coming here. I contacted management and nothing has been done. I am absolutely dissatisfied with a once excellent store, and the complete disregard of respect by thier employees is truly enlightening as to the company values.

You can spend your money here untill midnight but they stop doing customer service returns at 8pm. Yet this isn't posted anywhere online. I wouldn't have bothered if this information was provided to me online. Employees standing around doing nothing, yet they can't provide a return to someone a few minutes past eight. Their attitude was rude, unhelpful, and unapologetic. They don't answer my questions and stand their with a scowl. I guess they hate their job. This is the second strike against this store.

Love this place, great produce dept. , get good meat buys too. I can find small bites dog food in big bag. Clothes, auto products, fishing, electronics, garden. Wine, liquor....

Clean and safe. The carts could use some replacement or repair. But other than that great stocked shelves and happy workers, can't ask for much more than that

This is the store I go to the most. At least twice a week. Lately I noticed all the broken price checker machines. Why is no one fixing them? I use them all the time so I don't have to bother the employees. Also, I really can't do self checkout due to a health condition and often there is only one regular check-out open. Often with a very long wait. Otherwise this is a nice store.

I was just there this past Saturday looking for mint leaves. There were none in the packaged herb section and none in the fresh produce bins. A very nice worker (Njeri) asked if I needed any help and volunteered to go check the back of the store for some. She returned shortly after with a box full of bunches of fresh mint. She made me a happy "mint julep drinking Kentucky Derby" camper. #offtotheraces #derby151 Thanks again Njeri. #giveheraraise
