Zippy Shell

Marcus, Jav, Q, Jeff and Mike, were an excellent team and worked very well, polite and attentive to our needs. By noon, they realized they needed another cage to fit all the boxes and furniture. They managed to deliver the first truck with the cage and returned with the second, completing the entire job in one day. It was a great team effort! We are very grateful and satisfied with the service!

I used Zippy Shell for my recent move and it was a flawless experience. Deonte’s crew was so amazing and kind. They worked so hard and were very thorough. Deonte was very thoughtful in how he packed the POD and used every inch of it to make sure my stuff fit and was secure. Highly recommend Zippy !!!

Disappointed and Misled – Hidden Charges with No Consent I used Zippy Shell for the first time on July 28, 2025, and it was extremely disappointing. I was charged an unauthorized $99 after the move, even though the mover assured my husband there would be no extra fees. We only needed 1 hour of labor (but paid for 2), and tipped them well — only to be hit with surprise charges later. They also claimed we used 25 blankets and 6 rolls of tape, which is absolutely false. We packed everything ourselves and didn’t request any of those materials. The movers put blankets on without asking, and we were never told it would lead to a $75/month recurring charge. When I called, the manager said if they open a "case" of tape, we get charged for all of it — even if we never asked for or used it! Upon calling and filing a complaint with the manager, he promised to remove the charge however after a few days no charges have been removed. Our calls to him also went straight to voicemail and we could not contact them at all. I feel completely taken advantage of. I had planned to recommend Zippy Shell to others relocating for work, but now I’ll be warning them instead.

Just had the most amazing moving team I could ask for! Tae,Cole,Marcus, andTyrek went above and beyond to make sure all of my things were well taken care of and packed well. They were very accommodating with all of my requests and inquiries. It was a very hot day and they worked 5 hours in the NC heat to get everything taken care of for us. These guys are great representatives of Zippy Shell and I highly recommend them for your move. The company communicated well- confirming my move ahead of time, and contacted me the morning of my move to communicate when they were on their way. This company is also very well priced comparatively to Pods. I got this move for half the price Pods quoted. I'm moving from NC to MI and need to store my belongings during my transition. I'll add another review once my move is all completed- I'm hoping the Michigan team is as great as these guys were!

The Zippy Shell crew was quick and efficient. They moved my stuff well within the quoted time and were very friendly and professional. Would highly recommend!!

Marcus Q and Tyreek were awesome. They completed my move quickly and even ere able to get my combo washer/dryer up a steep narrow staircase. I highly recommend their service
